EXTRA Budapest - Brunch Bar Club — Restaurant in Budapest

The place looks really nice, its atmosperical, good-looking and attractive. It s clearly for partying and having a good night out with friends, for a drink and good music. But I have visited it for just a brunch and was hungry. Oh my god, I feel bad now and disguisting. And this where we start from MY experience (maybe a cook wasnt well or else): took a classical dish - english breakfast. A dish you cannot mess up, its really difficult to do it, but the cook did it. No, he actually nailed it. All began with the baked beans, which first smelled strange then found to have cinnamon in it. A cinnamon. In the baked beans. From the can. I asked why put it there, a waiter came back from the chef saying its an indian style. Okay moving on. The mushrooms were either dried and then fryed in the pan, I dunno, but they were absolutely dry and looking like a bacon you forgot in the pan for quite a time. Sausages were mediocre, nothing here. But the egg. For eggs sake. He oversalted that thing, like not just a little. Man I feel like vomiting while typing here. He oversalted it like dead sea oversalted. And exactly under the yolk, so I only realised it after putting it inside my mouth. Gosh. I JUST WANTED TO EAT. Nothing else. Give this cook a slap! Damn it. YOU HAD ONE JOB. To mess up such an easy dish. Kid has got talent. Apart from this cuisine adventure, I want the owner to personally go to the mens bathroom and use it. So to say to experience the little uncomfortability of it. Yet, overall all was fine. At least the coffee was great :) Btw the breakfast was 4500 HUF which is 11 eur. Place is 8,5 of 10. English...

If you are looking for a warm-up place before a party, or hang out with your friends on any days, this is the place. Good music, enough place, not overcrowded, fair prices, food, drink in one place 🥘 🍹 🍸 🍷 🎶 🔆very good location in the city centre 🔆good meeting point with big groups as well (table reservation in advance is needed) 🔆music with DJ but not too loud 🔆clean toilet 🔆very good food!! I tried the regular fries and grill goat cheese with salad. I really like that they decorated nicely even the fries (portions are big for a girl haha 😂 ) 🔆i drank lemonade with strawberry 🍓 not too sweet i loved it 👎 unfortunately the bar where you can order drink and food is very crowded 😕 but 👍compensated me that the waiters were very polite and kind and tried their best I really appreciated. 👍👍i also ordered a drink later and i was waiting waiting to be prepared and a waitress saw me and asked me what i wanted and she jumped behind the bar (it wasn’t her task) and prepared it for me, so kind!! If you open an account at the bar at your name or for your table you can order at your table - so convenient. 🔆you can smoke in front of the place 🔆you can put your coat on a hanger next to your table. 🔆everybody speaks English 🔆like the interior design with lightbulbs 💡, funny posters and high ceiling. You don’t feel that you squeezed into a cave 😉 🔆you can pay with cash and card ✔️💵

I really enjoyed the time there with my friends and colleagues, i will definitely go back.

Where to begin?? Ordered a cocktail the waiter spilled the majority of it on my jeans and runners, no cloth or anything to clean them. We ordered wings and nachos. The wings were microwaved and one was stone cold. Sent it back only to have 4 more microwaved wings sent back down. The nachos are basically crisps with some rotten microwaved cheese that cools down and goes rock hard, we got salsa on the side too. Not so much nachos, more like a packet of crisps and two dips that you would buy in the supermarket. The supermarket option would taste better. When asked by the server “how was the food” I replied not good. He then stayed away from us, didn’t come back to see if we wanted more drinks or anything. I asked jokingly while paying “do we get cold chicken wings discount”, this was met with a frown and a service charge….. Would not go back. Way better places literally two...
