This used to be a perfectly decent wine bar, however on our recent visit the bouncer took offence of us wearing a hoodie in pissing down rain and refused entry. I would normally understand this, however this isn’t exactly a suit and tie kind of place with many people in shorts and t-shirts and the guy himself was also dressed like Bud Spencer in Odds and Evens, so clearly not an Istituto Maragoni graduate moonlighting in this job. Now, for his defence, he said he found our clothes too sporty, and whilst after a quick glance I do understand that the mere thought of doing any kind of sports must have outraged him, this false pretence isn’t particularly attractive, so I would advise...

Ridiculous pricing of average wine and food. Pretty place for a date or to be seen, but if you care about the quality and flavour of your wine then this is not the place for you. So-so wines are easily being sold for between 900 and 2900 HUF a glass. Given the prices I'd expect a hirer quality and depth of flavour, or simply half the price. Cheese board is quite bland too. But it is very pretty and the staff are friendly (albeit wine knowledge seems limited and food service is quite slow).
