Pros: the atmosphere is really nice and the decor too.
Cons: If you are looking for a good burger, this is def. not the place to start. For 15e (in Budapest mind you) you would think that it was atleast fresh buns and meat but its far from it. Meat is frozen and then thawed and the buns are very dense and stale. Honestly, you get tastier burgers at the nearest McDonalds.
Also it took 45 (!!) minutes to get a burger when there were like 10 people in the restaurant. I guess the micowave takes time... Decent chips. But took an additional 10 extra minutes just to get some mayo. My SO had the chicken, it tasted alright but it was dry.
This place is for tourists only. It may look nice on the outside but I cant recommend it. We got 10% off of our order and they apologized for the mayo-delay but the mood was 0% at this point.

Read morePlatz is a cute restaurant in the heart of Budapest, in the Pest side. The place is clean and well organized, there is a good and fast service. Also the staff is super nice and welcoming. There is also Wi-Fi, which works perfectly. The food is very good, although there isn’t a very vast menu, there is every option possible and at least one food for every diet (vegetarian, vegan). The portions are quite abundant especially in the case of the hamburgers, which are well stuffed and joined by some fried potatoes. While instead the salad is normal, but I’d suggest the tropical one with peaches and mango dressing, cause it has a very intense and particular flavor. Concerning the price, it is in the standard, even though the tip which is already included and mandatory makes the total price quite high (for a salad, an hamburger, 2 cokes zero and a sparkling water we...
Read morePLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. We ordered 3 Grey Goose vodka shots at first. (Per shot €8.8) Then we ordered another 6 shots which were less than the previous ones...They came with a measure cup which proved us right it was less then 4 cl... Instead of filling up properly they said "in Hungary the 4cl standard is 3.8" which is unheard (my husband is Hungarian so we know it's a lie). 4cl is 4 cl...After this the table felt apart as it was faulty and one of our shot glass felt with it. When we told to the waiter and he told us "there is only your problem, however this ...hahaha no ..... it happened the previous guests at this table too" not even trying to fix or offer a replacement. Ended up paying 26.000 forint £75. (Without any foods) The worst experience...Def not the...
