Horrendous service. The bartender threw a hissy fit because I asked her to make a drink she didn’t know how to make. She didn’t address me at all, or asked me if I could have something else (which would’ve been completely fine). Her colleague was trying to show her how to do it, with her proceeding to yell, scream and act very inappropriately. I didn’t need to understand Hungarian to know what the whole issue was about. Mind you, I was the only person at the bar at the moment, and the bar was close to empty, so it wasn’t like she was under a lot of pressure. I have a lot of empathy for people working in service, as I used to do it as well, but this was incredibly out of line and inexcusable. The place is incredibly small and can fill up pretty quickly, becoming crowded and noisy, but on the other hand, sometimes you find it nigh empty and so friendly. The bartender, she was fantastic—really helpful in guiding us through our first pálinka choice, and it made the experience even better. The bar has a raw, unpolished vibe with amazing energy. Perfect spot for a laid-back night out....
