Ez Az Bisztró — Restaurant in Budapest

Super disappointed with this place. Yes, I am an American; however I have Hungarian background. Regardless of having Hungarian background, I was viewed as a less important customer when sitting down at this restaurant because of it. We were sitting next to three gentlemen who spoke fluent Hungarian. They sat down after us and got served first. Their drinks, appetizers and entrees all came out before we even ordered our food. It was very clear they were treated much more kindly than us. When we finally got our food, no one came back to check on us. I needed another drink but wasn’t able to get that. When we finally got their attention, we asked for the check. They began to LAUGH at us when we said we would be using our card to pay. I’m still unsure why that was funny but it was incredibly rude. I will admit, the food was good; however we will NOT be returning here during our stay...

We had a very bad experience. The temperature inside the restaurant was awful (it was too high). The staff was very rude. It took over 30 minutes to get our order, and over one hour to bring it. The BBQ ribs had no taste of BBQ! The chicken breast was very dry! All sides are separate from main dishes, and they managed to bring 3 out of 5 wrong. We ordered rice, and it came with fries (over over over cooked, and very very very salty). Also, we asked for Coca-Cola zero, and they brought us regular. And of course it took them over 25 minutes to bring us the bill, so we went to the casher to pay. The prices are way over than what you get. With the option of so many good restaurants in the area, I recommend you AVOID VISITING...

Exceptionally poor service ... Very rude waiter, we polietly ordered two beers and waiter looked like id just kicked his dog ... He brought menus and asked what i would like to eat, ordering a simple sandwhich he snatched both mine and my girlfriends menus off us muttering under his breathe without even taking her order, when we tried to ask what he had wrote down as he hadnt asked her her what she wanted he just kept storming off ... In the end we just got the bill for the two beers and left ... If management are reading it was the small man with the glasses working on wed 2nd october at 14.00 ... Id advise to give him some customer service coaching as the guy is a huge pr!ck and is loosing...
