I was incredibly lucky to stumble across this hidden gem within Budapest. I attended here with my other half as we were looking for somewhere to eat last minute for our last night here.

Upon entering, there was an incredibly welcoming vibe and we were immediately offered a table alongside menus. We were given a lovely seat by the window and ordered both drinks & food.

The beer was absolutely amazing, we learnt the in house selection was locally brewed by First Craft Beer - you were also able to buy a selection by the bottle to take home (this was an offer that couldn't be resisted considering we were visiting).

The food was not just large portions but also of a high standard- excellent quality. I ordered the chicken burger, they were amazing and considerate taking the cheese out for me (can't eat dairy) and putting it in my partner's burger instead. We also ordered a snack box to share & the crispy onions were 👌- wish I got a pic but it was too good so just started eating 🤣

I left feeling as though I had been to a unique place and was offered a really special, tailored experience... If you are local, or just visiting and like a nice place to relax with decent drinks, food and people.. this place is the one I would 100% be going here again if I ever find myself back in Budapest.. if anything it'll be for more blueberry beer 🍺

Cheers to all those incredibly, hardworking & dedicated staff - special shout out to Viktur Robert (asked for his name 'cuz he is AWESOME) this bunch is the most friendly staff I've met on my travels so thank you for making my last night in Budapest such a memorable...

BBQ and craft beer have become a popular pairing and cultural phenomenon for several reasons:

Flavor Complementation: The rich, smoky flavors of BBQ pair exceptionally well with the diverse and complex flavors found in craft beers. Different styles of craft beer can enhance various BBQ dishes, from light lagers complementing chicken to robust stouts pairing with beef brisket.

Craft Movement: The rise of the craft beer movement has paralleled the artisanal and slow food movements, including BBQ. Both emphasize quality, small-batch production, and unique flavors, appealing to similar audiences.

Community and Experience: BBQ and craft beer both foster a sense of community and social experience. Brewpubs, BBQ joints, and festivals often serve as social hubs where people gather to enjoy food, drink, and company.

Versatility and Experimentation: Craft brewers and BBQ chefs alike enjoy experimenting with new flavors and techniques. This spirit of innovation leads to unique pairings and collaborations, keeping the scene dynamic and exciting.

Cultural Trend: The combination taps into a broader cultural trend that values authenticity, craftsmanship, and local production. This resonates with consumers who appreciate knowing the origins of their food and drink.

These factors contribute to the growing popularity and cultural significance of BBQ and craft beer as a celebrated...

Food The food is delicious and well-balanced in terms of richness. The meat is tender, and the portions are average in size. However, be prepared for a long wait: some dishes (shrimp, goat cheese salad, beef bruschetta, appetizers, and fries) were served after 30 minutes, and one portion of appetizers took an additional 20 minutes. One of the appetizer servings didn’t come with sauces — perhaps this was a mistake by the staff. Also, the cheese in the appetizers was excessively salty and practically inedible.

The beer selection is impressive! We tried eight different flavors, and all were excellent. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy some beer with friends. However, if you’re really hungry, you might want to eat beforehand. To be fair, this might have been due to our visit on the evening of January 1st.

Interior The restaurant has a very atmospheric and thematic design, both inside and out. I really loved the decor — definite bonus points for this!

Service Orders are taken quickly, but clearing the table is quite slow. Even after we finished eating and spent some time chatting, the empty plates remained on the table for a while.

Overall Impression This restaurant is ideal for a relaxed evening with friends to enjoy a variety of beers in a stylish setting. However, if you’re starving, be prepared for a longer wait or choose another...
