Upon walking in we were both seated. The service was pretty slow even though there was only a few customers in there. We had to keep asking the 2 or 3 waiters to come over if we wanted more drinks or food. They were always too busy chatting away at that bar. At the end of our meal, I had the ham and sweetcorn pizza, I got this mad pain in my belly. Tried to hold it off but ended up going the toilet, only one cubicle and it was taken. So I returned to my seat for a horrible wait of what must've been 10-15 minutes. This other man finally came out gesturing to his partner that he was also unwell and they left. Anyway the food was nice but there was obviously something wrong if two of us had an upset stomach requiring a couple trips to the toilet... Price was reasonable but we definitely wouldn't suggest this place incase you end up ill. Also as I said the staff don't seem to care much.

Initially wanted to go to the restaurant next to this one, but they were completely booked for the next 2 days. The food was ok, nothing to write home about; I've had better goulash from stalls at the central market hall. What irritated me the most were the attitude of the waitresses. They were very pushy and weren't welcoming at all. It was as if like they wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible despite having only a few customers at the time and us ordering a lot of food (we were 5 people). The waitress then took away our plates as we were finishing up our food without asking a single thing. I don't know if this is a common practice, but they added a 10% service surcharge to our bill, again without mentioning a single thing to us. Extremely disappointed with the kind of service we received.

We had chance to be there today. To be honest I would need to split it in to three parts. 1. FOOD Food was OK vs rating I though it will be much better but it's only one part of expirience. Pros food was delivered quite fast, cons pasta was old and food was tasteless. 2. Servis Waitress had issue with speaking English and when I was asking for bill, I took some time to get contact with. 3. Sumarry To bill it was added 10% Servis cost (for what? Bad food and medium Servis?) as European I not use to Servis fee for 2 persons only as bonus, they asked me for card payment tip (added 10% as I was not expecting Servis fee) If I would need to say only one sentence to review it : "scam for Americans/British people"

We recently dined here during our trip to Budapest, and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was charming and cozy, earning a solid 4/5. It felt inviting and set a lovely mood for our evening, though a little more space or quieter ambiance would have made it perfect.

The service was impeccable and truly exceeded our expectations. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This deserves a 5/5.

As for the food, it was simply outstanding. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. We give it a well-deserved 5/5.

Overall, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience in Budapest.

A group of happy travellers...
