A new venue in Buda

Very friendly and enthusiastic staff. The cuisine on the conservative, traditional side, yet the superb preparation and the good quality ingredients provide excellent results. My personal favourites were the traditonal Hungarian dishes like Hungarian layered potato, sausage with egg, and Hungarian ratatuille (yes, it is typical Hungarian), which can be tasted in any household in Hungary, yet it is presented here by professional cooks.

Service: the online reservation is pretty straightforward and simple, not that common among Hungarian restaurants. Working perfectly on a PC, not that perfectly on iPad/Safari. Use a PC then :) Staff: extremely friendly and helpful. Flawless, really. Dishes: mostly classic Hungarian ones, but created with extreme care and some little twists. I highly recommend it to any foreigner, entering the world of Hungarian Cuisine, or Hungarians, to experience how a master grade "rakott krumpli" should look like. Price: not the cheapest, so I have to arrange my daily meals elsewhere, but well worth on special occasions. This is why I'm coming back...

A wonderful tier one restaurant in Budapest with cozy environment and high quality food. I was lucky to find a seat that night I visited as I haven’t made any reservation.

I ordered a 3courses dinner. Starting with Bone Mellow fresh garlic toast, followed by Veal Shoulder Praprkash and ended with a pudding.

The Bone Mellow Toast is impeccable! Everything on dish is warm (of course except the fresh garlic) and the toast is super crispy. When garlic is grinded on top, added with mellow, the combination is precisely delicious.

Budapest is famous of praprika, this stewed veal shoulder is so much much better than the beef goulash at Cafe Louvre in Prague. The sheep cheese potato pasta is another treasure in the dish, vey chewy and the texture matches perfectly with the tenderly cooked veal. The ingredients mixed with meat sauce in the mouth mark a deep enjoyment of a wonderful meal. Though the pudding that night was just average, that dinner still deserves a 5 star from me and is a great restaurant one shouldn’t miss when...
