Food — 5/5, goulash was delicious and gránátos as well!! The drinks were good and had no complaints at all!! I would go again for the food.

Service — 4/5, we did have a little trouble getting seated and getting the staff’s attention. When we first entered, we waited for a few minutes before trying to gain a staff attention as no one was coming to see us but we were completely ignored despite the fact that the staff in question made eye contact with us multiple times. We were kindly greeted by a young woman, who was going to show us to our table, until the staff from earlier, who ignored us, started making her run out food… the service lacks a bit of attentiveness when it comes to warmth greetings. Other than that, the staff were polite and friendly.

Atmosphere — 5/5, the interior is well decorated and super interesting. On the terrace, they have live music playing which is very calming and relaxing. The table mat was a map of Hungary, displaying the different part of where each...

We didn’t expect much when we were soaked in sweat under the burning sun looking at one of the very few choices in the most touristy area. The menu outside the restaurant has no photos and the list seems to be typical stuff and the price is on the touristy side. Anyway, we went in.

The service was fantastic.

Viktor was super attentive and knew that tourists struggle to visualize the menu and shows the photos on his tablet/phone - explained with patience.

He also proactively provided extra bowls and plates as he knew that we Asian tourists like to share food. And told us to take our time as we are on holidays.

The food is amazing. The goulash soup is probably the best I have ever had (I live in Germany so I tried plenty of them).

Anyway, all of the look great and super tasty 😋 (see photos. They do not do them justice though). Certainly, much more refined than you would have expected in such a touristy place. And it itself is a monument (Royal...

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The manager displayed blatant racial discrimination, which was already deeply upsetting. When it came time to pay, our bill included items we never received. We pointed this out to the manager, but he insisted that we had eaten the dishes. It wasn’t until we suggested reviewing the security footage that his attitude suddenly changed — he then admitted the restaurant had made a billing error and removed the incorrect items.

However, the service charge remained based on the original, incorrect total (10%), which means we were still overcharged. There was no apology, no compensation, no discount — nothing to acknowledge the inconvenience or their mistake.

While the food was decent and there was live music, none of that made up for the awful service and discriminatory behavior. This was one of the worst dining experiences...

I highly recommend this restaurant. I found the pricing fair for its location and for the quality of the food. I ordered the “crispy pork knuckle on saber”. I ignored the “saber” part, I guess subconsciously I thought it was some kind of typo. My crispy pork came with an actual saber which was truly unique and cool. The pork itself was DELICIOUS. Beautifully crispy on the outside and wonderfully juicy on the inside. The accompanied vegetables were a nice complement to the heaviness of the pork. The service was good, my waitress was very polite and friendly. There seemed to be a museum upstairs that was still opened at 7pm. I would have liked to have viewed it after dinner but I had a concert to attend.
