Welcome to the Budapest’s worst bar! We walked in around 11pm on a Sunday night to a half empty bar. We saw that the boxing was on on one of the screens so we politely asked if there was another screen in the venue where the 5 of us (mixed group) could sit and watch. The barmaid practically screamed at us that the venue was ‘over capacity’ (which was visiblly nonsense) and that we needed to leave. We could have argued with her but seeing as she was clearly having a bad day and the bar was not exactly jumping anyway, we made our exit and went to a nearby establishment that actually valued our custom. Worse experience in Budapest, I’m glad I had visited several bars prior to this one , we had visited some amazing friendly bars but this didn’t fall into those categories. Staff were un friendly to a point one I particular was rude and aggressive in her manner. We thought hey it can only get better so let’s try..the beer was flat, the glasses were not cleaned properly, you could see fingers prints on them where they hadn’t been cleaned properly. Been here multiple times to watch games with some friends and there's always a great atmosphere. Despite being an underground bar, it doesn't smell humid or moldy. The fact that they also serve many food options is also a big plus for me. On my last visit, I was planning an event for my team and they were suuuper nice and helpful. They always responded to my queries via Facebook (in English), and they provided enough space for us to play our games unbothered. We also ordered some of their desserts for the first time (Csoki soufflé and Brownie) and we were all very surprised on how good they were for a bar. Totally recommend!!! Great job to the...
