I use to be a customer of this shop. The market where they're are located is pretty central and next to other premium shops, therefore it was good place to buy my fav italian cold cuts.
Having noted in the past that the expert butcher tend to cut thick slices, I expressly mentioned to have some thin ones. His reply was grumpy and irritated.
The result: he packed the whole Parma ham in an extremely rough mode. No paper between slices, everything folded around itself and strongly sticked together. Practically impossible to take out a single slice. See picture.
A clear revenge for having disturbed his afternoon at work with a simple request of 150gr of thin sliced Parma ham.
That's not premium. And not respectful towards the premium product you're serving and its manufacturers. I will go to other markets, where similar products are treated as deserved.
You can mistreat me with a grumpy reply, but to mistreat what you sell clearly ignorance and lack of customer service attitude.
