TL;DR: This is a place that you shouldn't miss if you're in Budapest. The place feels really authentic and has great sandwiches and soups.

This place is one of our favourites ever since we discovered it. The little pun made us curious so we decided to check it out and we weren't disappointed. The place is located in one of the most interesting neighbourhoods of Budapest: the Museum district which I highly encourage you to check out.

It's a small, clean and warm place that feels really authentic. It's really nicely decorated, simple, but with style.

They have a fine selection of sandwiches (with vegetarian options as well) and all of them are really interesting and tasty: I couldn't believe some of the combinations! There also soups in the menu and I really have to recommend the cream soups! Their drinks selection is really good as well and I especially enjoy a cup of cappuccino when I'm there.

The staff is really friendly and fast. They speak English and are quick with a recommendation. They accept cash and cards.

If you're in the mood to try something different that's well done and tasty, or if you're just passing by, exploring the lovely Museums district, then you have to stop and check out Scusi:...

It seems bizarre that tasty focaccia, prepared in a skilled manner, unfortunately meets sassy service and a shameless business practice at this place.

Firstly, it is not justifiable to charge 7% service fee in a bistro where: -orders and payment are handled at the counter -staff gets annoyed when politely asked to wipe a dirty table -mistakes on the bill are not apologised for, but eyes are roled -staff gives comments when asked for cutlery -empty bottles piling up on the table I am happy to give generous tip, but it should be my call.

Secondly, it is an impudence to charge the empty bottle deposit directly to the customer, eventhough the bottles were clearly left at the table. When I go for lunch I do not want to leave carrying empty bottles and returning them to a supermarket. That is your...

I've been looking to visit this place for a long time and this Sunday we finally got there. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, both the service (from the first minute) and the food were a big disappointment. I have attached a picture of the food I ate, I think it speaks for itself and no further explanation is needed as to why I feel cheated. When I tried to tell them that something was NOT OK with the food here, they only half-heartedly answered: "there is the beetroot mayonnaise in it" (I don't know how to call this WHITE sauce, but it haven't seen much beetroot or horseradish). The overall taste of the food was mediocre and for the steep price I expected much better. The only reason I don't give a rating of 1 is because the Foccacia...

As someone who isn’t the biggest sandwich person, this was probably the best I’ve ever had! I got the panini (on focaccia, of course) with mozzarella, prosciutto and truffle mayo and it was HEAVENLY!! The bread was so soft and you could tell all the ingredients were fresh. The service was great and the gentleman was pleasant and helpful. Great if you’re looking for an English-friendly spot. It was quiet when we went, but be mindful that it is a tiny joint with little seating, so make sure you time your visit well (perhaps slightly before noon, as we did).
