Grand Budapest Apartments — Hotel in Budapest

From the moment I booked our stay,the staff were so helpful through email and then in person even more so. A special thanks to Kristof in reception who kindly printed our tickets and organised our taxis and made us feel so welcome by having a chat with us. And Mátyás who was so helpful when we needed our heating altered. Those two young gentlemen were really lovely and so pleasant and professional, it's so nice to see that. The apartment was lovely clean and extremely warm which was brilliant cause it was snowing outside! We arrived late, but they had emailed us our instructions of the key and apartment, they made it so easy. We were able to walk everywhere cause it was so central. We will definitely stay again. This place makes a home away from home, nice quiet and independent place to stay, but if you need anything those staff are there for you too! no problem....

We stayed for two nights in this apartment and it was honestly the best place we could have chosen in all of Budapest. The location is perfect – close to everything, yet quiet enough to relax and enjoy the view. Speaking of the view, it was absolutely amazing and really made our stay feel special. The apartment itself was spotless and very comfortable. Everything was clean, well-prepared, and exactly as described. The check-in process was smooth and easy, with no stress at all. The biggest highlight, though, was the organizer/host – she was simply the best! Super friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond. She really made us feel welcome from the very beginning. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Great location, clean and cozy apartment, stunning view, and an outstanding host. Highly recommended – this is truly the best place to stay...

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. The apartment was mostly clean, the location was perfect for us, and the staff was very responsive, friendly and supportive. The only reason I gave a 4, instead of a 5, was because the advertising is a LITTLE misleading. Usually, on hotels.com - you can select the exact apartment, so you know what accommodation you are booking. As pointed out in other reviews, you don't always get what you expect. We had a smaller, older kitchen and bathroom than expected for the "superior, city view, 3 bedroom apartment". The spacing was fine, but we didn't have the same city-view, and/or kitchen and bathrooms that we saw online when we booked. They display ALL pictures of the apartments, not just the specific apartment you are booking. It's fine, just be aware upfront when you book. We'd still recommend...
