I couldn't contain my excitement as I eagerly anticipated savoring my sandwich. However, my anticipation quickly turned into disappointment when I unveiled it during my flight back home. The saying "pictures speak a thousand words" couldn't be more accurate in this case. It's disheartening to see such a lackluster representation of what was promised. Considering the price I paid, I had hoped for a much better experience.

Read morethis place drives me nuts. the food is delicious and super inexpensive so i can see why it's mega popular, but i would just get it to-go and call it a night. the first time i went there i was not expecting some trendy see and be seen type place and i ended up waiting like 2 hours to never get seated. i sat at the bar and waited and got a whiskey, and the bartenders started feeling sorry for me so they gave me random cocktails that they made. they had this really bizarre duo: a dude spinning legit elevator music + this weird sax player who must have come from another decade or something. i was the only one bobbing my head along and dancing out of sheer boredom and the combo of empty stomach plus alcohol. the problem with budapest is that everything closes early so at that point my only option was to stay. next time i went back with a reservation no problem, and yeah that was nice, but it seems ridiculous to have to make a reservation for a restaraunt so cheap and informal. i recommend the georgian place...
