How is it possible ? I have a restaurant somewhere and when I eat this kind of food in a restaurant I feel my Heart breaking.

If you go there, you will pay a demeasuring price for something made by an INDUSTRIAL READY MADE MEAL BRAND.

If you re looking for a good restaurant please boycott this kind of place !

Seriousely I preffer a fresh fruit from my garden as a meal.

My restaurant belong to a richer country than hungary. But it's cheaper. And I earn enough money to take holidays. How it's possible? I have to Say to the owner! Please respect people. We are not in your restaurant only to have good times and to make you a rich person , but principally to eat something quite good and fresh made...

HOw is it possible to have such good comments? I am thinking the knowledge of what is good food is dead. Or maybe I live in the past. Maybe they pays some poeple to make comments? I can't understand

I really think restauration will dead ! This is not a isolated case..

Finally if you want to eat somthing without regarding the quality of the food, go somewhere and buy some streetfood. That's generally better taste and professionals don't try to...

The restaurant has a very nice ambience. A live band started playing some jazz music during our meal, and it was very nice. I don't like noisy live music while I'm eating, but this was quite quiet and nice. The food was pretty good. We shared goulash and fried camembert as an appetizer, and they were really good. For my main, I had a chicken breast dish with apple, camembert and mashed potatoes, which was really delicious. My partner's pork chef special main was OK, but the meat was a bit fatty. The food is presented in a really beautiful way. There were also quite a few vegetarian options available on the menu. While we were eating, the restaurant got busier and busier to the point that the servers seemed a bit overwhelmed. Something went wrong with our chocolate souffle order, and we were getting very restless by the time it came out. I have to say it was worth the wait in the end, and the restaurant comped our dessert because of the super long wait without us even really complaining too hard, so that was nice. All in all, I would give this place 5 stars, but took off 1 for the fatty meat and the slow dessert. Other than that, it's a...

Really nice atmosphere and waiters. The music is enjoyable and sets a happy mood (even the waiters were dancing).

We had some cheddar cream soup with tortilla chips (which was really good) and a goat cheese apple risotto (for me) and a fried catfish with mashed red beet and corn (for my fiancée). The risotto was also really good (especially in that combination), but the catfish wasn't extraordinary. As dessert we had a chocolate mousse with almond and vanilla ice-cream that was divine. Or we're just huge fans of chocolate mousse with stuff 😀. Overall a solid 3.75/5 for the food (and we will be coming back to test other things from the menu).

To drink we tested some wine and we were especially glad with the sweet white Tokaj. Overall, 3/5 for the drinks.

Special mentions: a really clean and spacious bathroom, nice, jolly English speaking staff and enough space to feel relaxed. Overall, 4.5/5 for staff and place.

I would really recommend this place to anyone visiting the Jewish Quarter or preparing for a night...

It was good as you see my previous opinion below but here is an update: they serve much less amount for higher price and a bad quality. I don't know about the dinners and the A'la carte but the lunch menu. Not just the complicated but the simple foods are worse then the home made which is a shame. The only reason they got 2 stars is the chance of the A'la carte to be good but I guess I will never risk it here. This quality drop gives me a warning. Think twice before you have your lunch menu here. There are so many good places in this district. It used to be like this: "This was just a part of one "simple" lunch menu. They recently changed the cook and it was a really good decision. We came here time to time but there was nothing special about the courses but once we recognised a significant difference and asked the waiter. He said the old chef came back. Keep the old chef. He or she is great. I am can't wait to invite some friends here and taste the a la'carte menu during the dinner. Highly recommended."

Come here if you... want to go to a touristy place with worse than average food. This restaurant was a huge disappointment for me. On my first night in Budapest I went for dinner here relying on the high rating the restaurant has on google. Service was Ok and the atmosphere was nice as there were a couple of guys playing jazz. Then, talking about what we went there for: the food was not good at all. Looking at the pretentious names on the menu I was expecting a great dish, but not quite! My marinated chicken reminded me of that mcdonalds chicken salad i had a few years ago for some strange reason. Only the pita bread saved the experience. My gf got a duck leg with some stuff. It was more like a soup (so much sauce) with hard pasta a tiny piece of duck. Everybody around us was speaking english or other foreign languages. So this should help you get an idea. PS: after a couple of days i can safely said I have tried really good food in Budapest!
