We reserved a place for 10:00 pm for seven people. When we arrived, the waiter came up to us and gave us menus on the table and told us that the kitchen would close in five minutes and we had to hurry up and order. I started to look through the menu and the waiter kept trying to rush me. I told the waiter, can you recommend something to me and I'll take it? He said no and repeatedly pushed the menu at me and told me to hurry up and order. I couldn't understand what I ordered and what the prices were. After we got the food, it wasn't enough for seven people. We left hungry and disappointed with the waiter's service. But the downside was that we had to pay 250,000 forint for mediocre food. We did talk to the restaurant manager and he apologized. My friends and I were very disappointed. I think that if someone closes a table, they should check with the management when all the shows end and when the kitchen closes, because there were no shows when we were there. There was only one guy playing drums and another girl who was a DJ. The restaurant looks good and of high quality. Personally, I want to tell you that a large part of my friends who were with me there are people who are Opinion leaders, some of whom have over 100,000 followers on social media. We came with the goal of showing off and having fun, and we left very...
Read moreAwful customer handling. Communication was a complete mess and a huge disappointment. I believe a restaurant of this kind simply cannot afford such poor coordination. We planned to stay for the whole evening – to have dinner, enjoy the show and the party. Before the event, we had several phone calls and exchanged a few emails regarding the duration of our stay and the minimum spending requirement. However, we received contradictory information each time (and still never got a reply to our last email). To be clear, I have no issue with the minimum spend itself – I fully understand the policy – but all staff members should be aligned and communicate the same rules consistently. On site, the maître d’ behaved more like a strict bouncer than an elegant host, showing no concern for the information we had been given earlier, and was not kind or welcoming at all. Also, at the last minute it turned out that two more friends were joining us (the booking was for 8 but we ended up 10), which clearly became an issue, and he made us feel uncomfortable about it. Kind of strange that in Budapest you can only talk to the maître d’ in English. Of course, the restaurant probably doesn’t depend on (Hungarians) good reviews, since they have a steady flow of customers and tourists anyway. On the positive side: the table service, waiters, atmosphere, and the shows were all very good. The presentation and quality of the food were also high, in the meantime, the taste was no outstanding. Overall, the whole experience just left me disappointed and I wouldn’t recommend it. Needless to say, we didn’t end up staying the whole night.
Read moreThe shows were of a high standard and created a great atmosphere throughout the evening. The female singer especially stood out — her voice was truly impressive. As for the food, the quality were rather average. The signature cocktails looked nice, but in terms of taste, you’re better off choosing from the regular cocktail list — apart from the fancy glass, you’re not missing much. One major downside is that allergens are not listed on the menu. The staff mentioned that they are waiting for new menus, but considering that the restaurant has been open since December 2024 — and given that allergen labeling is required by EU law. Considering that the restaurant is part of the Costes group, we expected more on culinary side. However, it’s definitely worth visiting once for the shows and the lively atmosphere — perhaps for a...
