Paddy's Beach Pub — Restaurant in Reykjanesbær

I'm not recommending this place. I bought a beer, left it on a bar stand, went for a smoke, went back, my beer was gone, 3 bartenders standing said they did not see who took it(in 1 square meter) how whats possible ??? I started to argue with them, security took me out and said that I can't go to a bar again, can you make imagine ?? I was not aggressive at all, just asking questions... It's not even legal to go out with a beer of glass out of the bar, cmon. Please don't go to this bar it's full of junkies and service is ridiculously bad. Can you imagine this review is only for one beer ? So what could happen if you are celebrating here a bd or something ??? Pls...

American here. I went here alone and hung out till close. Bartender spoke the worst English of anyone I met in Iceland and I still had a great conversation with him. He let me smoke a few cigs inside and we watched a volcano erupt on the big TV. I watched people come and go, but I felt no need to find a different “cooler” bar because this place was the perfect dive. Bartender wouldn’t let me drink Danish beer, and just kept refilling my glass and handing me the payment reader. Apparently they filmed some of the “Alaskan” True Detective here and he told me all about it which was cool. I wish I could come back...

...went there four times during our week-long visit to iceland. closed every time. so the hours you see on googlemaps is completely inaccurate. for that matter, even the hours posted on their door - are inaccurate. so we never actually got to enter the establishment because they never opened on time. or before 9pm. that we knew of. in fact, we drove to reykjavik and found many other places that WERE open. so yeah, if you go, good luck on the doors...
