Brand restaurant — Restaurant in Reykjavik

Stopped by here unexpectedly and thankful we did. From start to finish this place hit all of the marks. We had the ribeye, course of the week (duck confit), baby potatoes, grilled vegetables and the sourdough and date pesto. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked and just absolutely fantastic. CANNOT SING ITS PRAISES ENOUGH!

Even better, the staff made this place all the more amazing (shoutout to Anastasiia and Ágúst)! You can tell there is passion, love and tact in the quality of the establishment and I can’t wait to come back to Iceland to try again, def one of the highlights...

The service was friendly, but unfortunately the food was disappointing.

I ordered a burger, and the patty was full of hard, chewy bits — possibly gristle — making it unpleasant to eat and even risking a broken tooth.

As for the bread… They called it sourdough, but it was nothing of the sort. It was dry, tasteless, with no proper crust — it felt like it had been sitting in a freezer for ages.

A real shame, because the staff were genuinely nice. But sadly, I wouldn’t come back...

The food quality was disappointing, with the burger being very plain - lumpy meat, a bun, and dry fries - must have been prebaked for other orders and just deepfried again for your order. Baked brie, which came with sourdough bread, fell far short of expectations; it lacked the flavor and tasted bland, bread with an unpleasant aftertaste.
