Fabulous bar!!! We came here twice during our stay (prior to COVID). The place we were staying mentioned this place had happy hour which is why we went the first time. The beer can be pricey if not during happy hour (not this location in general, but all of Iceland) Lots of bars have happy hour but this is the place you should go if interested in craft beer! The bartender working was very pleasant both times. We were able to find seats even with there being a crowd each time. One time we sat at a table and the next we sat at the window to people watch. They didn't serve food but there is a place next door which you can grab some food and bring it back. They do offer the infamous "shark" shot but we did not partake!!! Lovely people, lovely atmosphere and wonderful drinks! Will be back to visit! I spoke about this bar in my YouTube video: Where to Eat, Stay and Go in Iceland -...

I would suggest you go here if you want to try Icelandic beer and spirits because it's just about all they serve...and they have MANY options.
There is a spot just next door where you can go and grab food to bring back to the bar. Get the lamb stew served in a bread bowl...it's a nice compliment to the beer.
This place is worth going back to next time we're in town. Many thanks to the staff for...

(They recommend picking up food from the street food place down the street and bringing it over.) On the other hand, the bar itself is very cozy (including seats that look outwards along a street-facing window, and a variety of other seats and tables), and the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. For my wife and I, the first two things were kind of dealbreakers, so we...
