The Old Bookstore in Reykjavík — Local services in Reykjavik

I will be going back here as often as I can.

I was recommended this store because I love fountain pens. They have a great collection of fountain pens and inks. I bought three inks and a book and will make sure to have a bigger budget next time. It's such a luxury to have the opportunity to write with some of the pens before buying and they have swatches of the inks behind the counter.

I'm very happy with all of the inks I bought and I finished the book I bought in one sitting. It was very good, and now I want to explore more works by icelandic authors.

This store might be on the smaller size, but the service is excellent and their stock is very well curated. I would recommend anyone to visit The old Bookstore. For fountain pen enthusiasts they even have their own line of store exclusive inks made by diamine.
