The best thing about this place is that there is a gelato shop on the other side of the street to tone down your hunger after going to their "bottomless" brunch. I've never been so hungry after going to a restaurant.

Today was my second time at their bottomless brunch and it was a worse experience than the first time, which wasn't great already.

The bottomless brunch is already quite pricey for a bottomless brunch: about 10,000 ISK (in 2024) and there is no option to not take drinks (price is the same with or without drinks). The food takes such a long time to come and it comes in such tiny portions. Like if you wanna eat, you have to call the waiter/waitress all the time because they rarely come by themselves. And once you order, be patient because it will be a while before it comes. Food itself is good quality but nowhere good enough to justify that kind of wait. Same for the drinks: I managed to get 3 glasses of prosecco in the 2h I was there, that ain't bottomless at all.

Please if you read this review, I recommend the Bastard Brewery which is nearby this place. They have a bottomless brunch too with and without drinks. They are super attentive, they come to your table as soon as you're finished, food comes fast and is very good. That's what a true...

Do not come here! It is not good at all. The food either has too much or too little going on. For example, the edamame had SO much cilantro on it that was all you could taste whereas the avocado fries had no flavor at all. It is way over priced for the quality of the food. Also we made a reservation and noted “no cucumber” and the first dish that we were served from the tasting menu was the bacon wrapped dates that were covered entirely in it, super disappointing. Do not go here if you have a food allergy! They do not read notes which is super dangerous! The tasting menu was 9.000 a person, we got mainly fried bar food like appetizers with it and very little food that had any real sustenance. This was definitely the worst meal we have had in Iceland or anywhere else we went in Europe. The service was not great either, super unfriendly staff except for the really nice blonde girl and the guy working the bar. 0/10 would not recommend. We literally left and went somewhere else after...

Bland and expensive, the food wasn't awful. We ordered the tasting menu+edamame, the tuna tacos and goat cheese chips were good, the other 6 dishes were either bad, incredibly bland and/or fried food with bad sauce on the side. 3 of the 8 dishes in a 9000 Kr meal were fried with no seasoning and all with the same poor sauce. Also their salted caramel ice cream tastes exactly like a worthers original lol. Idk maybe we just came on a night they were out of a bunch of ingredients and didn't have normal dishes but it felt like eating at a chain restraunt that specializes in appetizers, but the bill was 21000 Kr. The vibe was good and 1 and 1/2 of the servers were pleasant but for some reason we had 3 servers and one was impolite. I would be ok giving this place a 4 star rating because I feel like they had a bad night maybe, but the service wasn't that great, the food was bland and it was quite expensive. Very disappointing last meal in Iceland, where the food has blown our...

The food is incredible! We went for the bottomless brunch and were not disappointed. The servers were amiable, however it took them a while to take the next orders. Since you can only order 2 dishes at once and they are small sized, like tapas, at one point we finished eating everything and we were waiting for around 15 mins for someone to come and take the next order. This was a bit stressful because we had the table for 2 hours and we would have liked to try all of the available dishes. A solution would be ordering in advance: as soon as they bring the food, order some more, so they can come with it briefly (this includes the preparation time too, as some dishes take longer to cook than others). I highly recommend the "not pizza", it is otherworldly!!

Found this restaurant on traveladviser, and it looked like it has some very interesting food. Showed up on Sunday night for dinner and was told that they are fully booked for the night. Fortunately, two seats opened up at the bar and we took it without hesitation. The service was great and our waitress very helpful in suggesting foods that are somewhat unique to iceland. We got the smoked puffin, lamb, pork ribs, langoustine, and sweet potato fries. Everything was very yummy and flavorful, but the portion is rather small, almost like tapas. We were barely full after 5 dishes but our bill came to almost $200. To sum up, always call ahead to make a reservation, be ready to fork over a pretty penny for the food, but you will enjoy your experience there!
