Stopped in for a mid-walking tour happy hour. Received the warmest of welcomes. Low ceiling, cosy yet still bright. Great folk music playlist. Solid selection of local beers and also wines and various cocktails. Off the beaten path so it’s not crazy loud and crowded. Would come back again .

Este bar es perfecto para comer fish and chips. Tienen durante todo el dia oferta de 2x1 en fish and chips y en hamburguesas. Y hace que salga realmente económico para los precios de Islandia. El sitio es muy acogedor y el personal amable. El fish and chips estaba delicioso, un pescado blanquisimo y fresco con mucho sabor. Totalmente recomendable. Ademas si vas antes de las 7 de la tarde o de las 8 en fin de semana puedes tomarte dos cervezas Gull por 750 coronas, mejor precio imposible. Si no te dan la opcion de servirte agua de unas jarras que tienen: free water! Dispone de acceso a los aseos del hotel.

We went to this cafe/bar a few years ago and they had outstanding happy hour specials including 2 for 1 cocktails that used exclusively spirits made in Iceland.

We tried it again yesterday and were saddened to see that this offer no longer exists and the cocktail menu was very pared down. Happy hour now only includes 500 kr off wine, beer, and cocktails. Drinks were okay, but not stellar. 4,400 for two drinks on happy hour special. Probably will not return as there are better places to go in Reykjavik.

And for those of you wondering about the 2 for 1 fish and chips and/or burger, this offer was not promoted anywhere on-site. Apparently you can no longer get food as only snacks...

We stopped by for a beer and a latte. The beer (a Boli) was good. Latte was bitter and acidic. Not sure if the coffee was burned or the shot was pulled long. Staff was efficient and professional. Atmosphere was classic hotel bar - comfy furniture, but otherwise pretty bland. All considered, it was just fine. But if you must go, don’t go...

Great price in Iceland!!! This is a must when here in Iceland!!! The food was top notch, the drinks were delicious and it was during happy hour...... wait for it......... buy 1 get 2!!! Cant beat this deal anywhere 👍🏻 The interior decoration was comforting and the staff were super nice!!! Great...
