Loved the atmosphere and staff but not the prices. 12 USD for a Guinness during happy hour, a little over 7 USD for local Icelandic beer. They have wifi with a passcode which is nice and I ordered tea which they gave for free. They do not check a Covid green pass or vaccine card. Definitely very Irish/American feel with the decorations and music. Lastly, the menu online is old, no hot chocolate (though who really comes to a bar for hot chocolate) thought it was worth a mention!

Edit: Based on the owner's response, there is clearly some mismatch/misunderstanding between what the bartender charged us and what the actual price of a Guinness is supposed to be. All I know is we were charged over 1500 Krona which is over $11. At this point my suggestion is to just go to the Lebowski Bar down the street where a Guinness during happy...

Great pub and the Guinness is great but the place was crazy busy and they had 1 girl working and she was amazing trying to make sure she served everyone. The downside was i went there because it said it closed at 1am and they closed well before 12 and everyone was ushered out within minutes. The singer was great and asked people what Irish songs they wanted to hear. I asked for some luke Kelly and was told "sorry who"? We have whiskey in the jar if that's any good.. . But other than that I can't remember many Irish tunes. Now this doesn't mean I didn't have a great time in there because I did, I had a great time and enjoyed the pints and the atmosphere was great and that's why it still got 4 stars but there was some small issues that I just wanted people...

The best Irish Pub in Reykjavik. We found this place by accident because we were next door at 101 Bistro for lunch and happened to meet Don Bird who was so nice and invited us over for a few drinks. Once inside the bar it was lively and filled with people having fun and drinking in the middle of the day! My kind of place! We were only able to stay a short time because of other Tours but if you are ever in Reykjavik you must go here and meet Don Bird because he is the life of this FUN FILLED pub!!! I hope to get the opportunity to return here one day soon. Until then Cheers to The...

Greet beers, great service, great atmosphere, just a freakin fantastic pub. The cozy little pub is located right in the downtown. They have limited outside seating til 10pm and indoor seating across 2 floors til 2am. This place gets pretty packed pretty quickly. The live music here is fabulous! Was so impressed with the duo: wide variety of classics and alternative rock. They were truly exceptional musicians and just as friendly as could be. Staff and security were professional, kind and on top of passing out drinks to a thirsty crowd. Great night out.

I was very skeptical of this bar, but a few different friends recommended it, so we gave it a try and I’m sooo glad we did. I’m not a huge whiskey fan, but I ordered a whiskey mule and it was delicious. Our bartender, DonByrd, was also the best! He took great care of us and even recommended a bunch of other bars and restaurants in Reykjavík. I ordered the lamb salad and it was incredible, and my husband got the fish and chips — he said it was the best he’s ever had! Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in Iceland!
