A other feather to the cap #happeningkoramangala. From the laidback quite residential area, this area now offers quite a few watering holes.
Located on the 4th floor and terrace above, this place just mesmerises you with the ambience, service, drinks and of course great food.
Even on a mid week this place was pretty full for a new place. Having their own brewery always is a asset to the business.Around 120-150 pax can be accommodated easily here.
The BEERS tried here were-
1.Belgian Wit-have tasted better 2.Hefeweizen-Average 3.Dunkelweiss-Fell in love with this again. The successful combination of Caramel,Banana,Chocolate and Clove flavours with less hop and less bitter went well with my taste buds 4.Pale Ale-My personal favourite.Like it as it has more ABV/more hops and more bitterness 5.Mango Cider-tried it. New in the market. However felt the strong Alphanso flavour robbed the beer taste. Also less on Hops and bitterness too.
The Starters tried were-
1.Pork Chilli Pepper-the spices were right. However felt the white portion on top of the piece was not cooked to perfection 2.Fiery Chicken Wings- Must try and just perfect 3.Chermoula Spiced Prawn- am impressed with the presentation, style of cooking and of course Taste. 4.Boozy Kalamari Rings- the dish that was written off in Goa has been rekindled with the best way it was cooked. Absolute joy. 5.Murgh Tikka- Conventional yet right. Cooked to perfection and spices right. 6.Ajwaini Fish Tikka- MUST TRY DISH. The chef has gone the extra mile in whipping a dish so nice that you will be craving for more.
The main course included
1.Chicken Tikka Pizza-thin crust hand tossed with the right ingredients. Always a comfort food to lean back upon. 2.Pesto Chicken Roasted Pepper Pizza- better than the previous one. 3.Kadai Chicken - beautifully done to perfection 4.Hyderabadi Gosht Biryani - a bit too dry both the meat and the rice. Also served bit too late leading to dish getting cold. Dampener.
The Desserts tried were
1.Molten Lava Cake-This is a tricky dessert which the chef has got it right...BANG ON😊 The dessert is so perfect that it’s crust is perfectly hard with the hot chocolate lava gushing out the moment you break it.A absolute joy and a previlege to taste such a great DESSERT. Way to go Chef.

Read moreWell it did exceed my expectations. A totally worth ale house in Koramangala. Happy crowd, good beer & great food. Guess what , it doesn’t break the bank.
Seating : Outdoor/Smoking can seat 40+ customers. Not too congested, definitely not spacious. Indoor seating is more sober. But they got comfortable sofa. Roof top was booked for private party hence was not accessible.
Beers :
Mango Cider : it wasn’t the best mango beer I have had. But not too bad. If you do not like the bitterness of the beer, then go for this one. Light fruity and sweet. Not too sweet either.
Imperial Porter : Definitely an enjoyable beer with spicy food. Give it a try. Medium bodied.
Rauchweizen : I enjoyed this a lot. Perfect light beer. Better than Belgian wit. It’s a bit fruity but not easily noticeable.
Weizenbock : Strong Beer and just wonderful with chicken starters. It is complex and has a neat smooth finish. Must try.
Nelson Wheat : It’s an average beer. Quite light. Nothing extraordinary here.
What can I say, I love craft beer. I suggest you to try the samplers and decide for yourself. But definitely beers here are not a letdown.
Food :
Man can I just say, everything I had was just amazing. Totally worth every rupee.
Kandhari Murgh Tikka : Finger licking good. Their marinade was on point. Cooked to perfection. You need to have this before you get drunk.
Cheese Nachos : well it’s nachos, it’s yum. Definitely a must try.
Chicken Seek Kebab : the flavours were so fresh. The taste wasn’t wow but still it was very good. The mint chutney is the bomb.
Corn Cheese Fritters : Deep fried and cheese filled. What more could you ask for ?
Ambience :
Has sombre lighting like most taprooms in the area. Dull yet lively due to the crowd. Design is very minimalistic yet pleasing. Table for two is quite small. That’s a let down. Can’t fit 2 sides and 2 beers .. wth
Service :
Staffs were polite and helpful. I did not find any trouble in that area, although service was quite slow for a weekday. I wouldn’t hold it against them since it was full and there was a private party on the terrace.
Improvements
Make sure all guests are greeted and shown to seats. Basic etiquette. When we arrived no one greeted us or even helped us find a seat.
Toilet needs to be cleaned better and also air fresher should be in place.
Even if it’s rush hour tables should be wiped down well before letting the next guest take the seat.
Music was a little too loud to my liking but it’s a personal preference.
Valet parking wasn’t available. Finding parking can be a bit tricky.
Offers : Zomato Pro available. Happy Hour...
Read moreNewly opened multi storied pub in town that to near my home. Ambience was wow it's very eye catchy with so many rustic view and beer related quotations. Service is fast on weekdays about weekends yes you have to wait for some time but that's ok. Cocktails they are serving good in taste and composition. I am sure they have a good quality mixologist with them. Craft beer not started yet but you can see it in Feb last week may be.
In cocktails they served some quality classics like Sex on the beach, Old Fashioned, Whisky Sour and White lady.
In mocktails also they have good options like Mango madness, Kiwi Trader.
In food we have ordered so many stuffs both in veg and non veg. But to amaze they have more tasty options in veg as compared to non veg dishes.
Beer Battered Onion Ring - perfect crust/layer served with mayo. Prominent beer flavour is not there but I am ok with the taste.
South west Mushroom - mushroom stuffed with refreshing veggies just cooked to the perfection. You may ask why I have written perfection. Because some conti-indian restaurants in town cook the mushrooms to it's death.
Skin to Brim - you can say this is the perfect jacket Potatoes. So yummy that I am drooling for some more while writing as well.
In non veg starters we got beer batter fish finger and fiery chicken wings but failed to make any kind of impact on my taste buds.
In main Roti was too good but Dal makhani failed to impress me.
Dessert they have kind of good option like
Baked yogurt - just perfectly baked yes it's a nice one.
Baked Gulab Jamun - nice in trend now a days by the way.
Choco lava cake - Good.
Creme Burle - Egg flavour is more please add some more vanilla essence.
Bon...
