Chung's Chinese Corner - Jayanagar — Restaurant in Bengaluru

After watching Thor movie at INOX Leisure, me and my friends wanted to have some good food as we were very hungry and we were finding some good restaurants near Jayanagar. Suddenly we thought of going to Chung's with a great doubt about the quality and taste of the food as it was our first time. Finally, we went there and ordered Veg balls (dry), Veg chowmien , Chilly garlic chowmien, Veg szechuan fried rice and Burnt pepper fried rice.

Veg balls, Veg chowmien and Veg szechuan fried rice were appetizing. Especially Veg szechuan fried rice was very delicious and veg balls as well. This is the best Veg szechuan fried rice i ever had. Burnt pepper rice was something new I tried here and it didn't disappoint me.

This is not that expensive as well. One plate of rice/chowmien will serve two people easily. I didn't get a chance to try non-veg items here. The ambiance was good but it feels like a small place. It was clean and tidy. The management of the restaurant will play nice humming songs for their customers. I really liked this.

Overall this is a good place to try good Chinese food. My personal recommendations would be Veg balls (dry) and Veg szechuan fried rice. Do try this out when you crave for good...

Never saw such a bad service in any restaurant! Today I had been here with my Sister, as the waiter was quite decent at first, gave the menu and I ordered with Manchow Soup as by two, then he asked me what else is the next order, I said we r here only for this Soup nothing more required! The waiter was like "that's it don't need anything"??? Beside my table ppl were like Looking at us with such an bad way, it was like an insult for us!! Hence I requested him for Warm Water, after knowing I only ordered for Manchow Soup he didn't got me the Warm Water, when I had been to pay the bill I made them to listen is this the way you treat your customers and insult them in return? The other got up and said he forgot you to bring as he got the orders on different table so thats common and it happens! And we had kept Mineral Water you should have used it..! Look if you make the bill at certain level you will be treated with respect and Fame! If there is little order you wil b treated like us!!! Very shameful act at Table numb 14, 9.30pm...

Office team Lunch. LOCATION: On the major road. Parking would not be available for sure. Good visibility. its at plinth after 4 to 5 steps. No wheel-char access.

AMBIENCE: This premise is reasonably old and needs renovation in all aspects. Many 2 seaters along with most 4 seaters. They also provide seating at the basement only bigger groups or in rare rush hours.

FOOD: Good and just above average. Yet its better than other Chinese joints nearby.

HYGIENE and SERVICE: staff grooming is absolute need of the hour. Cleanliness is also not up to the mark. Service time is just about managed. Wash room need a major upliftment.
