Darjeeling Food Court β A Modest Stop for a Quick Bite A small, roadside food joint that quietly serves up popular Darjeeling-style dishes. Not flashy, but it has its own charm β especially if you're nearby and hungry. Here's a quick rundown of the experience:
π What We Tried: π₯ Momos: Taste was good, but served lukewarm β not hot, not cold. Couldβve been much better with proper heat.
π Fried Rice: Portion size: Generous β Taste: Okay, but nothing special. Had better in the same price range.
π² Chicken Wanton Soup: β Perfect 10/10 β piping hot, flavorful, and comforting.
πͺ Seating & Ambience: Small setup with limited space: 2 tables inside + a long wall-side slab (total ~10 seats inside). 1 small table outside for 2 people. Corner spot outside that can fit 4β5 more. Cozy and no-frills β think of it more as a quick-bite place than a dine-in experience.
π₯ Staff & Service: Friendly and welcoming. Service was decent but has room to improve β especially in consistency and attention to details like food temperature.
π Overall Impression: Not a go-to for momos, but a decent backup option when you're nearby or out of choices. Would return for the chicken...

The menu is a treasure trove of flavors, showcasing traditional dishes like momos, thukpa, and steaming hot dumplings that are perfectly crafted. Their Darjeeling-style noodles are a standout, bursting with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. The highlight for me was the perfectly spiced, juicy chicken momos served with a fiery red chutney that added just the right amount of zing.
Vegetarian options are equally satisfying, with their paneer chili momos and vegetable thukpa stealing the show.
The staff is warm, attentive, and eager to provide recommendations, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The service is quick without compromising on quality.

If you see the attached photo of October 8, 2025 (mentioned in the photo, earlier one had noodles), the earlier thukpa vs the current thukpa shows a huge difference. The current one is severely bad, with only cabbage and too much spice, making it inedible. There are no signs of noodles, which were there earlier. I also took momos, which were tasteless. Drums of Heaven was soggy with no crispness. I have reduced the rating from 5 to 1 based on the current food. One more thing, they have increased the price as well
Below one is old review Its a nice place to visit if you want to have some north east food like momos, thupka etc.
