Me and my better half went to this cafe on Valentines day evening for dinner as its near her workplace . its a nice little cafe . it was pretty peacefull there so we could have a nice calm dinner .
Drinks: Hot chocolate & Vietnamese coffee. It was a rich hot chocolate with soft heart shaped marshmallow topping. Only if the sugar was little less as marshmallow is also very sweet. It would have been perfect.Vietnamese cold coffee was given separately in a cup with some ice cubes in another glass. You need to pour the coffee over the ice cubes and add some sugar if you want. It was really yummy.
Salad:It was little simple in comparison with popular Greek salads. It had only chopped Cucumber, Tomato, Red & green bell peppers, Olives with some fetta cheese sprinkled over it. But it did not have any dressings or much sesoning.
MainCourse:We had The Bankruptcy Chicken White Pasta. It was also served with some heart shaped garlic breads.Pasta was flavourful with nice seasoning & it was tasty.
Desserts: Newyork Cheesecake, Chocolate decadence cakeNewyork cheesecake had fresh strawberry, Red velevet & some heart shaped chocolate toppings. It was delicious.Chocolate decadence cake had hard heart shaped shell with some chocolate mouse inside. You need to crack it open the outer shell to have the inside chocolate mousse. It was nice.
The ambience is simple and nice too with dominant white color and few accents here and there . The staff are very coordial as well
overall it was a nice and quite dinner on...
Read moreWe had planned our quarterly team meeting in our MG road office a few weeks back, when a colleague suggested ordering lunch from Marzipan Cafe & Bakery. Was heartening to see that most of the fellow colleagues were already aware of the place and thus, it took us no time in reaching a consensus and swiggy-ing an order.
The place is located just a few meters away from our MG Road office and thus, it took no time for order to be delivered. Soon, we were seen hogging on the 'Agle e Olio' pasta, 'My Grandma's Veg Pasta', 'Margherita Pizza', 'Veg Burger'. Everything was delicious and all we could hear in the room was pin drop silence, with everyone in the room busy eating :) :)
We couldn't also hold ourselves back from ordering desserts from the fine selection of options available in the menu. Since there were many of us, we ordered a serving of almost everything that was on the offer - from 'Banoffee', 'NY Cheesecake', 'Nutella Cheesecake' , 'Bangalore Mudpie' & 'Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie'. We loved each and every dessert that we ordered, and could clearly sense the freshness and love with which they were prepared.
Though have not visited the place in person, would certainly recommend a visit / order from the place. You will...
Read moreI would give this place a zero but the system doesn't allow it . First of all ,the cleanliness . Most chara are stained and we had to change it before we sat down . We ordered a veg souvlaki. I asked the waiter whether the salad was better and what it was made of . He mumbled a non answer . The souvlaki had falafels that tasted like bad aloo tikkis ( mind you one of us has lived in Arabia and both of us have eaten falafels in its home and also made it several times ) . The spinach and feta pastizzi looked and tasted like it had been in the case for days , the moussakka gave my friend and upset stomach and - again having tasted mousakka in Greece I can say it hardly tasted like mousakka. When we complained to the lady manager or supervisor she said " the lady who runs this place is Greek .! So what your food is still stale and bad and I have lived and tasted all these in their home countries I felt like saying but kept quiet then . Not a word of apology . Really really bad experience so be warned . Expect aloo tikki s...
