Smoke House Deli, Lavelle Road – Detailed Review Smoke House Deli is always a solid choice when it comes to good food and drinks, and my visit to their Lavelle Road outlet was no exception. While the prices are on the higher side, the experience, food, and especially the unlimited cocktail deal made it a fun outing.
Food & Drinks: Bolognese with Tenderloin (Farfalle) This was a well-balanced pasta dish with farfalle cooked to a nice al dente texture. The tenderloin chunks were juicy and well-seasoned, adding a rich depth to the bolognese sauce. The sauce itself was hearty, with the right balance of tanginess and meaty flavor. Definitely a satisfying dish for those who enjoy a classic meaty pasta. Cheese Garlic Bread Sometimes, simplicity wins, and this cheese garlic bread was a great example. The bread was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of buttery garlic flavor. The cheese was perfectly melted and slightly browned, making it a great starter or side. BBQ Pork Ribs This was one of the highlights of the meal. The ribs were tender, juicy, and had the perfect amount of fat to make them flavorful without being overly greasy. The BBQ sauce was well-balanced—sweet, smoky, and slightly tangy, coating the ribs nicely without overpowering the natural meatiness. Deli Iced Tea A refreshing drink that complemented the food well. It wasn’t overly sweet, which I appreciated, and had a subtle citrusy note. Unlimited Cocktails This was easily one of the best deals of the night. You get unlimited cocktails, and they didn’t skimp on the quality or portions. Tried a mix of different drinks, including: Edge of Desire – A well-balanced cocktail with a fruity yet strong kick. Passion Potion – A tropical-inspired drink with a refreshing passion fruit base. Citrus Whisky Highball – A light yet flavorful whisky-based cocktail with citrus notes, making it a great sipping drink. Lemon Drop Martini – A zesty, slightly sweet cocktail with a nice tart finish. They were well-made, and the bartenders were quick with refills, making it a great deal overall. Overall Experience: The food was consistently good, and the unlimited cocktails definitely made it a fun experience. While the pricing is on the higher side, the quality of food and drinks justifies it to an extent. Unfortunately, I had no space left for dessert, but that’s a reason to come back! If you're looking for a chill evening with great drinks and good food, Smoke House Deli is...

Read moreIt's one of those places where you could have best of both. You could either go with your friends and/or family and have a nice meal or you could enjoy your book and solitude with a hearty breakfast and a scrumptious hot cocoa.
The morning hours and the pristine white interiors with a whimsy of simple and minimalistic graphics brings a certain calmness to the place. It immediately relaxes your senses. Even though it is located very conveniently in one of the trendy locations, you would get the feeling of being in a french bistro in the outskirts of a city.
The service is worth every appreciation. You would be immediately atrended to but at the same time you will be given your space. The staff won't hover around yet they will be there when you need them to be.
The menu is extensive yet not confusing. You will be spoilt for choices but will know what to choose exactly. The food tastes wonderful. There's no overkill. The quantity, presentation, taste is just right. It would be difficult for me to choose my favorite food. However, their hot cocoa is something I could have time and over again.
If you are a I-would-rather-stay-home-than-go-out-on-a-Saturday-morning kind of a person, a visit to this place once would make you question your decision every weekend. And you might just give in and head out. I think this explains more than...
