Starbucks — Restaurant in Bengaluru

There's a different air about a Starbucks. Most middle class folks (including myself) don't get it. Basically it's just another cafe, but mainly for those that want that extra special touch, i.e going the extra mile. Allow me to elaborate: I spent an entire day working here, from breakfast to dinner. Fast free wifi, ample charging spots, chill atmosphere, soothing ambient music. The freshly prepared sandwiches are fantastic, and the croissants just melts in your mouth. Coffee is same as most cafes, but the staff is quite knowledgeable about a customers intricate requirements. The staff welcomes everyone and bids bye as well, which i found endearing. On the day i went, they even gave the entire cafe a free cake slice sample coz they're trying out a new flavour apparently. The guy taking my order went over and beyond to tailor make my coffee just the way i wanted it, even giving me a few suggestions to suit my taste buds. (I basically suggested requirements which i thought matched a macchiato but apparently a costada was more suiting for me, it wasn't on the menu, but they still made it). Starbucks Coffee - a chain of coffee outlets by the Tata group... This facility is located in JP Nagar...

The outside seating is pleasant with a mini garden landscape (refer pics)... Inside, it feels cramped and crowded...

The menu has very limited options for tea and coffee and snacks... Hence, this is good only for a small business gathering...

A few disappointing factors:

Payment to be done first before seeing the bill... Change the system to make it the other way round... Any excuse or explanation for the existing system is not acceptable...

Lady at the counter refusing to enter my mobile number or email address to fetch my membership info... Not offering any kind kf assistance - only standing and apologizing - not acceptable... You can thank her for the 1 star rating...

Incorrect order delivered to our table despite being given a token...

Overall, these are too many things that went wrong - strongly displaying lack of proper training for staff... Were they even trained?? This experience was definitely good to leave a bitter taste in the mouth - more powerful than coffee!!
