Disappointing Stay at Ambrosia Hotel, Salt Lake – Needs Major Improvements

I recently stayed at Ambrosia Hotel in Salt Lake, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. While the location is decent and the staff members were polite and helpful, the overall infrastructure and maintenance of the hotel left a lot to be desired.

To begin with, the room was extremely congested—barely any space to move around comfortably, especially if you're traveling with luggage. The washroom was quite disappointing, with poor cleanliness and outdated fittings. It looked worn-out and was not properly maintained. The drawers in the room were damaged and very difficult to use, which adds to the feeling of neglect.

Another issue was with the linen and housekeeping standards. During my stay, the bedsheets were not changed, and the linen provided didn’t feel fresh or hygienic. This is a basic expectation in any hotel, and it was not met.

There is only one elevator, and that too is quite old and slow. It often felt unsafe or unreliable. Additionally, getting through to the reception via telephone was frustrating—I had to call multiple times with no response, which is unacceptable, especially in case of an emergency.

That said, I must appreciate the staff’s positive attitude. Despite the poor infrastructure, the team was courteous and tried to assist wherever they could. However, the property overall needs serious renovation and better management to be considered a comfortable...

I visited the pub at first floor. I must say the ambience was quite good. The staffs were quite well informed, about what drinks and food were available and what were not.

Although I feel that their services can be offered with a smile, which will make the customers feel valued!

They have 2:1 offer going on the drinks menu, most of the time. Or else they have partnered with Zomato as well, the customer can take a 25% discount on the total bill value if they chose not to avail the 2:1 offer.

The smoking room gives you chance to bump your head on the wall, such is the entrance.

Wide variety of drinks and food are available. I liked their chicken chow chow, which didn’t have a single noodle in it but tasted...
