First I will start with overall experience. It is excellent and memorable. The rooms were reasonably big enough and the river view from rooms was spectacular. Having tea at the window overseeing the river was so beautiful and soothing. |When we reached Hotel we were very warmly received by the staff including handling our baggage. The reception staff were very friendly. It never felt like we went to a commercial hotel. If I must say something that could be improved is if the systems are a bit faster and they did the checkin checkout faster that would be great. But this is really mild gap. The staff were so interested to help us with information about the nearby sightseeing and shopping places. Saumya, Sirajuddin, Mujaffar, Roshime, Rinki. ||The lobby, swimming pool, the stairs there and the chandliers, the glass elevator, decoration all looked so beautiful. We took so many pics at the elegant stairs in the lobby. ||Some improvements that could make this much more sweeter are: better linen and cleaning some nooks and corners. Honestly they didn't make any big difference but that would be icing on the cake. It carried a bit of a antique look. Bathrooms were clean and the toiletries are nice and relevant. Anything we requested was provided quickly and alacrity like slippers, dryers, shaving kit etc.||Coming to the restaurant, this one topped in making our experience extra ordinary. Starts with staff who are so cheerful and friendly and proactively suggesting better things. Prem, Surajit, Manisha, Aastha, Roshni. I am a globe trotter and I have seen in very few places, staff like this that are so well dressed, well behaved and professional with their area of work and having continuous indefatigable smile and always helping you with choices. I felt like extending my stay just because of this restaurant. The view, the ambiance, the food items, the cleanliness etc. Surajit seemed like on a never ending battery. Always watchful and helping. The staff never compromised on their service quality even if you did.||Usually hotels want to claim that their hotel is a home away from home. This one did feel like one truly. You must experience the hospitality, location, ambiance, view, cuisine, friendly staff that is professional. ||Thanks Lemontree. keep that up. If you can fill some of the minor gaps I mentioned, it...

Read moreIn the small alleyway, this place is located. Like a small Alley, this place has a small surrounded area. In short, this place is going to be packed with limited seating arrangements at weekends. Therefore, considering the turn, you would get in 20-25 minutes span, but it's all worth the wait. The food they serve is totally delicious and delightful. They're known for their typical karnatak cuisine where the taste was absolutely udipi style. We've heard a lot about this place, so we decided to go by to try southern delicacies on sundays. There, we had F. Thali, Mysore Masala, Ghotala, and Banglore Dosa. All dosa were so flavourful and rich in taste, but my favourite was MM with Garlic Flavour. And of course, how could you forget their filter coffee [Never miss] it was that good and soothing. This place is very cosy, and it will fill with a bunch of a few people. It is truly a gem for South Indian food in ahmedabad. If you're near-by lal darwaja market, make sure to check...
