Dear Customers,
This review of mine should be considered urgent and of prime importance.
I would like to immediately point out that the restaurant is not serving authentic food as what many claim.
They had no Pork spare ribs and.other special cuts available.
We ordered Pork Bafat. And needless to say, there was no wow factor in the taste. Honestly, it was not worth the money and the portion was way smaller.
Even their lime juice with soda was tasting terrible. The waiter claimed it to be Fresh lime. But that was not true. We saw him pick up a bottle with lime concentrate from the fridge and the drink that arrived was terrible and had no freshness to it.
The Pork Roast was just simple and what we saw was most of onions and thinly sliced pork. The main taste we got was Ginger garlic paste. It tastes similar to Beef peeper that you get in other restaurants at a cheaper price.
And now, the most important part- The Management are big liars. You see I was in the FAMILY AC Room with my family and I was surprised to see bachelor's coming in to dine. And then to my shock and disbelief, they were a bunch of drunkards drinking. Would you ever want to see this when you go with your girl and family?? I'm still angry about this matter.
And now for the SHOCKER!! We ordered Beef Biriyani for my daughter and my wife was tasting the meat. She suddenly ran to the bathroom and I didn't know what happened. She came back after a while and said that the BEEF meat piece got stuck in her throat and she was suffocating. She had to force herself to vomit in the washroom. Thank God she survived. I got the shock of my life and I tasted the meat and realised that it was so damn hard.
I told the waiter that why has this happened and that we cannot eat the meat. He gave a really stupid excuse that the meet cannot be tenderised in spite of further cooking. I even told him what happened to my wife and they didn't do anything about it.
My humble request to you all reading this is that please do not being your family here and be careful about the food they serve.
We have come from so far to taste their food and it was the most terrible experience of our lives.
I end by saying that I speak only the truth And all my previews reviews from other restaurants is filled with truth keeping the safety of all the people, their children and family who read and believe...
Read moreThe place is a 2 storey building with enough space and maintained well. Currently the lower floor is under construction but the top floor is open for dine-in. As there were very good reviews about the Alfresco, tried it with white sauce. It is chicken steak and mashed potatoes in white sauce with French fries on the side. A yummy tummy filling dish. Also tried their butter chicken, creamy, thick enough, not spicy but adequately sweet and has the masala flavour. The Butter naan was also freshly made, soft, not too chewy. Requested for the lime juice with salt and sugar and was a great addition to all the heavy food.
Overall, an excellent visit. A quiet place, enough to have a great conversation but not very eerily silent. Good service, prompt waiters. Suitable for families, couples, group of friends. Not very expensive. Could be within 500 to 700₹ per person.
P.S. The place serves pork, beef, mutton, fish. For persons who for any personal or cultural reasons would want to...
Read moreThe Pereira's is one of the most popular eateries, located very conveniently near the bus stop but doesn't immediately noticeable as a restaurant due to coverage of its side by street vendors, has been serving vide varieties of mangalorean non vegetarian foods since ages. We tried meals, chicken sukha and Ayala fish fry. The food was very tasty especially, the chicken sukha was a blend of a different flavoured coconut masala, something I never tasted like before. Pricing is very moderate. The restaurant looks slightly old fashioned, but worth the money. The only strange thing i found was the entry to this restaurant opens to the backside of the street and on the front side, there is a very small door, which cannot be easily seen, but after entering in, I found plenty of space inside. Overall a great food experience and a must visit option for food lovers of authentic...
