McDonald's — Restaurant in Kerala

Nestled near the Holiday Inn Kochi, this McDonald's delighted me with its inviting ambiance and remarkable customer service. Upon entering, I was promptly greeted by an alert and welcoming staff who were eager to cater to my every need – a genuine breath of fresh air.

During my visit, I dared to venture outside of my comfort zone and ordered their spicy chicken. Although I usually steer clear of spicy foods, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it confirmed that spice isn't quite my thing; however, that's more of a personal preference than a critique of the dish itself.

To cool off, I indulged in the chocolate shake and a cappuccino, which were on par with the high-quality beverages I've come to expect from McDonald's. Consistent, creamy, and comforting, both drinks were a treat to savor.

The pièce de résistance, however, was the softy. With just one bite, I became an unapologetic hardcore fan. This creamy confection is the kind of treat that can turn a mere visit into a memorable event. Now, I find it impossible to leave this McDonald's without enjoying this simple yet exquisite dessert. All though I am a great fan of the brand, somehow I disliked this place due to a lot of bad experiences. Even after having sufficient parking area for cars it's difficult to park the car due to chaos in the area view unavailability of staff / supervisor.. The person at the counter, unlike other places was not good at suggestions and was at disconnect with kitchen. I received my meal in two parts with a gap of good 10 minutes in between... Even after taking this much time I had to wait for my Mcswirls for another 15 minutes that too after finishing my meal... All these time the staff came up with some or other excuses... Finally, a manager kind of guy (I suppose) came and told me that the machine is not acheiving temperature so will not be able to serve it in the usual cone. I said fine, for which he offered to give the same in a cup. He came back with the cup but the thing inside was nothing like Mcswirl. Finally, he gave me two (cups) fountain Pepsi in lieu of Mcswirls. In between this I shuttled so many times between the counter and table... Also during this period, twice there was power interruption and the back up system was pathetic... Overall my experience with this outlet was below average.. POORLY MANAGED OUTLET

Last time I had food from here, they didn't have any soft drinks in stock not even a cup of plain water was provided and they sounded unapologetic about it. All the good restaurants were full and we were starving and luckily I had a bottle of water in the car so we went ahead and ordered.

I have never had anything other than burgers and fries from McD before. This time I gave their fried chicken a try and to my utter disappointment there was no other way than to eat it off of the paper placed on the serving tray. A paper plate was not provided upon request, like the ones you get at other places like KFC. They said they don't have that kinda facilities.

I have no idea how on earth they are operating, without the basics, being a part of such a huge restaurant chain.

This is not the 1st time I've faced issues with this place. Once when I went in there was no water supply to the basin. Another time it took around 20 mins to get the food in the drivethru. I have only gone there 4-5 times and 3 times it was disappointing. This outlet is a poorly...
