Bombay Brasserie - Colaba is situated on the ground floor of Dhanraj Mahal, close to gateway of India and Regal theatre. It is one of the best destinations for experiencing Indian art, culture, history and culinary excellence. 🎭 They offer eclectic modernized menu showcasing the Indian culinary skills through master recipes selected across India. They offer small bites, big plates and paired specials. The bar offers some of the most nostalgic Indian & global favorites with a refreshing modern innovations. 🍷 Once in, you are mesmerized by the two level sprawling space and well lit , well stocked bar. Ground floor has dedicated spaces to acknowledge the services of ‘Dabbawalas’ and textile wall showcasing the hand weaved Indian craft. The kite lighting is an innovative design which adds glory to the place. 🪁 The staircase has ‘incredible India wall’ depicting India’s rich history through paintings and maps. The ‘dolls wall’ showcases the India’s cultural diversity in a pleasing way. 🪆 We started our dream culinary journey with: ✅ The Indian Rose: It was Rooh Afza based sweet drink with rose petals. ✅ Kairi Sherbet: It was a raw mango refresher with curry leaf twist. ✅ Hot Kadhi Samosa Chaat: Lip smacking samosas were served with hot kadhi, aloo bhujia and chaat chutney. ✅ Fiery Thecha Prawns: Fresh prawns were tossed in mirchi thesa, crushed peanuts and garnished with grated coconut. It was delicious. ✅ Anardana Tikka Paneer: Roasted paneer chunks were tossed in chef special spices and anar dana. The paneer melted in our mouth. ✅ Kashmiri Naan Kebab: Minced mutton was infused with Kashmiri kebab spices and served with naan, chutney and dip. Kebabs were aromatic & flavorful. ✅ Himachal Khatta Meat & Chur chur Paratha: It was a lip smacking combination of spicy & sour gravy giving it a unique taste and flavor. ✅ Surat Street Khavsa: A combination of Indian & Burmese flavors bursted in our mouth. It was served with tempered noodles, coconut curry, papdi, fried chili, onions and garlic chutney. ✅ Ras-E-Aam: Rasagulla nestled in rich rabdi and was topped with aamras. It was rich, creamy and decadent. We were received and greeted by Mr. Sandesh, who was polite, knowledgeable and respectful. He took pains to explain us the food preparation and ingredients details minutely. The services were quick and staff were friendly. With impeccable services, vibrant ambience and unique nation wide carefully curated ingredients BB is the destination for all occasions. I dined at Bombay Brasserie and had an extraordinary experience that deserves a glowing five-star review. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a memorable dining adventure. To begin, I indulged in the refreshing Kairi Sherbet, which was a delightful combination of tangy and sweet flavors. It was the perfect start to my meal and awakened my taste buds in anticipation of what was to come. Next, I tried the Old Town Delhi dish, which transported me to the bustling streets of Delhi with its authentic flavors and aromatic spices. The dish was a true representation of the rich culinary heritage of the city, leaving me craving for more. The Angoori Soda was a unique and refreshing beverage that perfectly complemented the bold flavors of the food. Its fizzy and fruity taste provided a pleasant contrast to the savory dishes I had chosen. One of the standout dishes was the Aam Papad Paneer, a delightful combination of juicy paneer and tangy mango flavors. The dish was a perfect balance of textures and flavors, leaving me impressed with its creativity and execution. The Hot Kadhi Samosa Chaat was a burst of flavors in every bite. The crispy samosas soaked in tangy kadhi, topped with a medley of chutneys and crunchy sev, created a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that left me craving for more. The Dum Ke kali daal was a true comfort food experience. The lentils were cooked to perfection, with a rich and creamy texture that melted in my mouth. It was a dish that showcased the skill and expertise of the chefs at Bombay Brasserie. To accompany my meal, I savored the Chur Chur Paratha, which was flaky, buttery, and absolutely delicious. It was the perfect accompaniment to the flavorful curries and added an extra layer of indulgence to the overall dining experience. Overall, my visit to Bombay Brasserie was nothing short of extraordinary. The food was outstanding, with each dish crafted with precision and bursting with authentic flavors. The attentive and friendly staff added to the overall experience, ensuring that every aspect of my visit was enjoyable. I highly recommend Bombay Brasserie to anyone looking for a truly remarkable dining experience. The combination of delectable dishes, inviting ambiance, and impeccable service makes it a five-star destination for food enthusiasts seeking a taste of authentic Indian cuisine.

I have been a loyal customer of Bombay Brassarie since the 1990s, and though it has changed locations over time, one thing that has remained constant is its legendary status. Recently, I visited their Colaba location, and I was immediately struck by the lively, colorful, and vibrant decor, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. One of the highlights of my dining experience was the fantastic service provided by Shoaib, who took excellent care of my table, ensuring a pleasant and smooth dining experience. To kick off my meal, I tried the Hot Kadi Samosa Chaat, which I found to be an innovative and delightful fusion of flavors. The dish was beautifully presented, adding to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. Another vegetarian delight I sampled was the Chilly Cheese Kulcha, which was stuffed with cheese and chili. It seemed to be their unique take on the classic chilly cheese toast. One of the standout dishes that I would highly recommend is the Kashmiri Raan Kebab, which is their signature dish. It consisted of minced mutton, much like a seekh kebab, served with naan, pickles, and a yogurt dip. The flavors were impressive and left a lasting impression. Next up was the Rajputana Murg, another one of their signature dishes. While it didn't quite have the punch I expected, the chicken was juicy and tender. The dish featured the flavorsome Shikar masala. I also enjoyed the Anardana Paneer Tikka, a comforting and delicious option that I would encourage others to try. To end the meal on a sweet note, I opted for their kulfi, a traditional Indian frozen dessert. It provided a perfect balance of sweetness and flavor, making it a delightful conclusion to the dining experience. I should also mention that their cocktails were well-prepared, and I particularly enjoyed their Pauwa drinks, which are apparently a speciality of Bombay Brassarie. Overall, my experience at Bombay Brassarie was filled with positive impressions. The restaurant has a lot of potential, and it was evident by how packed it was even on a Friday. I am definitely looking forward to visiting again soon. Kudos to the team for consistently delivering a wonderful dining experience. See you soon! Cheers!
