I have been to a few CCD branches, but this was my first time visiting CCD Dadar. It is located near Shivaji Park, and to my surprise, the place was so cool and calm, even when I visited around 6:30 PM. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. This cafe gave me an old-school vibe, and reminded me of my college days when I used to visit CCD a lot.
I ordered a latte and a Green Apple Mojito, and the order was served within 20 minutes. The mojito was refreshing, and I absolutely loved it. However, I had mentioned while ordering that I wanted it without ice, but it was still served with ice. I informed the staff, but instead of replacing it, they left me to remove the ice myself, which was disappointing. On the other hand, the latte was good and served at the perfect temperature.
I chose to sit outside, as I love outdoor seating, and I had a peaceful experience. The outdoor area is well-ventilated with fans, so it was comfortable. The staff was cooperative, and the washrooms were clean and compact.
This is a great cafe where you can come with friends, family, or even solo. You can sit, read a book, or work in a relaxed and quiet environment. Overall, I really liked the vibe of the cafe, but I feel the service could be improved, especially when it comes to handling customer preferences more carefully.
If you are in Dadar, it's still worth visiting for a cozy cafe experience.

Read moreWanted to have hazelnut brownie so thought of visiting cafe coffee day (Shivaji park branch), but it was a wrong decision when we entered inside and I went to the counter, the staff was not at all welcoming and rude towards me, I asked him about the brownie & he (a tall, hefty guy) rudely said they don't have, after that my mother asked him if they have only one type of brownie or they sell varieties, but without listening to her he cut her in between and said "bola na nahi hai" in a rude way then my mother tried asking again and he replied the same. Just because we were wearing a Indian dress (kurta pajama) and not any fashionable dress, he judged us thinking we cannot afford to eat in CCD. Am very much disappointed with the way the guy treated us and judged us, this was definitely not expected from CCD. Highly disappointed. I had no idea that in India wearing an Indian dress will be considered as the person can't afford things. Also even if someone can't afford something your staff has no right to treat them like that. You have surely lost me as your customer, as this is not the way a customer is treated. Hope you guys will take some action and train your staff on how to behave...
Read moreSomething weird happened today evening (around 6:30 pm) I was in here for a meeting Waiting for someone sipping my ice tea.
There was some sort of cold war going on between the staff (a guy and a girl) It went on more verbal and then loader The Girl was answering back with same pace as the guy, somebody took her out but she came back to the work station and then both of them started fighting.
She: peeche hat
Guy: peeche hat
She: tu peeche hat
Guy: (holds her hand and started twisting it) tu peeche hat
She slapped the guy and the guy hit her back (10 time harder)
Its 1:34 am I am at my home But I couldn't get over with the sound of the slap.
I raised my voice Went there and called the manager he came and took them out. Dont know what happened after that.
Just because I was there and witnessing everything, And I am not judging the guy because he slapped a girl.
She just slapped him out of self protection.
Hope you take a strong action against that...
