Often the problem with a great Manglorian outlet is that they arent family friendly or you know a place where you can spend time! This place solves this problem absolutely. We were a big group of 12 people. 10 non vegetarians! The non-vegetarians ordered Bombil rawa fry, bangda, surmai fry, chicken chilly milly (tandoori) for starters. Everything was delicious. Im a sea food lover and I can tell you, this is as good as it gets guys! But the chicken chilly milly was an unexpected hero. It was so tasty and perfectly cooked, I called for another helping from across the table! For main course we had the famous neer dosa and prawns gassi! It was long back, but last time I had Gassi was in Mangalore itself and this took me right back. Honestly it may have even been better. The soft and tender dosa goes so well with the rich gravy! I must strongly urge you to go for neer dosa if you're trying anything Manglorian for the main course. I had a temptation to try it with a little rice too. I don't have to tell you that rice mixed with Manglorian gravies is like morsels from heaven. Towards the end someone had also ordered chicken sukka and even though at this point we were stuffed, i completed the helping of sukka because it was that good. All in all a great gastronomical day for us! I cant remember when I had such amazing food last. Its been too long and this place satieted my itch for truly great konkani/Manglorian non veg...

Finally got a chance to go to Harish refreshment after a long time. The restaurant is located in Ballard Estate in Fort, which makes these place really apt for all the office goers to take a break and enjoy their lunch-dinner, a good place to catch-up with your friends for a drink and also a very good place to take your family. I went with my close friends for dinner and we happened to like everything we had!

We had:

1. Chicken chilli milly kebab: Flavoursome kebabs with right amount of spices
2. Rawas rawa fry: Fresh fish cooked to perfection
3. Bombil rawa fry: Crispy and too tasty, you will want to order more
4. Surmai tawa fry: Very well prepared and the flavours make it a must have
5. Prawns gassi: Authentic preparation, goes really well with Neer dosa or Steam rice
6. Neer dosa: A manglorean beauty which makes all the gravy dishes complete (consider it like a roti/bread to have with gravy)
7. Chicken sukkha - A must have if you love chicken prepared in Manglorean style
8. Sitaphal kulfi - the best end for the dinner

I am just overwhelmed after my visit to Harish Restaurant , and cudnt stop myself from writting review just after my return from enjoying delicious food. This is our 2nd visit in 1 day as our hotel is just opposite the restaurant. Manager Anand was so so so helpful and full of patience and calm He was so helpful whilst taking my orders, I am allergic to spicy food, so I asked him if he can customise few food items for me.. and he made sure that I get what i asked for! Non spicy and delicious! The fish is just mind blowing here, so fresh and tasty! Mr Anand is an asset to the business I feel he should be appreciated for the brilliant service he provided us and I'm preety sure Mr.Anand must be continuing his best service to all the guests at the restaurant. 10/10 for the service.

I had ordered pomfret, I feel whilst ordering fresh fish, the price should have been told to us by the waiters. in the end I had to pay Rs.1450 for a medium sized haldi pomfret.
