I recently dined at Punjab Grill located in Infiniti Mall, Malad West, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The restaurant manager, Mashuk Mazumdar, seemed to be overseeing an operation that fell short in several key aspects, leaving me with a sense of disappointment and feeling insulted.
Poor Services: The overall service at Punjab Grill was shockingly poor. There was no designated person to take our order, leaving us waiting awkwardly for an extended period. Additionally, there was a notable absence of attentive staff to address our needs throughout the meal.
Lack of Basic Amenities: Basic amenities like water and napkins were not provided, creating an uncomfortable and unhygienic dining environment. The absence of spoons and salad further highlighted the lack of attention to detail.
Presentation and Cleanliness: To add to the disappointment, the food was not served on plates, detracting from the dining experience. The food table itself was not fully cleaned, leaving a negative impression on the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the establishment.
Inefficient Order Handling: The absence of a dedicated person to take further orders disrupted the flow of our dining experience. It seemed like the staff was disorganized and unable to manage the basic tasks of a restaurant efficiently.
Payment Hassles: To cap off the disappointing experience, the staff provided us with the wrong bill, making the payment process confusing and frustrating. This error not only wasted our time but also added to the feeling of being insulted during our visit.
In conclusion, my dining experience at Punjab Grill, Infiniti Mall, Malad West, was far below the standards one would expect from a reputable restaurant. The lack of basic services, attention to detail, and the overall unprofessionalism exhibited by the staff, under the management of Mashuk Mazumdar, make it challenging to recommend this establishment. I hope the management takes swift and decisive action to address these issues and improve the overall dining experience for...
Read moreHorrible service, the staff was just too occupied to give proper service and I am sure we were clearly judged on our appearance as what will these colleges going look alike even spend here or whatever The food took a lot of time to come. As I observed people walking in just when we sat. And just because they wore fancy clothes they were given a better treatment. I didn't go to a restaurant to be judged like that. So therefore I asked them to pull off the service charges which again took them a lot of time to get the receipt. I also observed that some complimentary shots were given to everyone(definitely an extra thing so no hard feelings) but somehow we made it to the list of exceptions as nothing came to our table . Also not to forget the way I was asked to pay the bill as they had to do their closing of the day when I had not finished eating, the best part was that a new host came to ask us to pay the bill who hadn't attended us all ever once. Wow what a unique way to give your customer a surprise all after there was an additional wait for 20 minutes after everything was done to get the finger bowls. The staff doesn't understand that if someone is still eating and dining they should keep the noise low and let the music running, but no no that's not how it happened, they didn't care about their guests, the music was turned off and I was clearly able to hear the cutlery and dishes on the back. Also we could hear the staff abusing each other and having a discussion about different things.
Please guys that's not something anyone would like at any restaurant they visit. The entire thing would have been alright only and only if the staff service was a little more generous,
Over all the food was okay but we were at a surprise until it arrived as when we ordered no one was interested to tell us what exactly we were ordering, nor available to answer our questions that we apparently understood and didn't even ask after 2...
