Bar counter is very well designed in the corner and looks very attractive. Seating arrangement is super comfortable. They have lot of different tables depending on the group size. They have some huge tables as well.! All the sofas and chairs were super comfortable. Music at this place was also excellent. They do have a separate room for private parties as well. Overall place has a ambience that is combination of party place and fine dine. Place is perfect for any kind of celebration with family, friends, love, everyone.!!
Taking about service & staff, this place offers a very swift service. Everything was taken care of with perfection. Mr. Rohit Singh was managing our table and I was highly satisfied with his professional behavior and politeness. The Food Studio, from my experience with Mulund branch I had very high hopes with food and drinks and this branch in Malad definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of amazing drinks and super delicious food..! We could try few drinks that were superbly blended and Shaken by Mr. Neeraj Chand. We could also try all three courses of meal and found everything absolutely perfect or above the expectation. We tried all the chef recommendations and we now recommend that to everyone.
Melon Swirl : super fresh watermelon juice with some fresh mint, lemon grass and syrup. Absolutely refreshing and rehydrating drink with super cool presentation. Must go for it if you are fresh fruit juice lover.! Twist of mint and watermelon was just perfect.
April lady: I just love coconut based drinks and thus orderd this one. Everything in this drink was in proper proportion and was shaken absolutely very well. Vanilla ice cream, coconut cream, mint, caramel and mango nectar. It was some amazing combination. Base taste was on sweeter side because of vanilla. This is one of the best mocktail that I ever had.
Scarlet Sin : one of the most refreshing drink in the menu with super shaken iced lemonade along with pomegranate and passion fruit. Topped with mint leaves and some hints of mint in the drink as well. Absolutely refreshing drink it was.
Naam thai: tangy and full of twists until the last sip. This drink with the pineapple juice base was topped with some basil leaves and was blended with lime extract and lemon grass. I could get the tangy twists till the last sip of this drink and I just loved the taste. Surprisingly, Even mocktails can be so good.
Food is all what I need, so ordered few starts along with those super refreshing mocktails.
Crackling Spinch with Paneer: Fresh and super soft Paneer perfectly tossed in sweet & spicy sauce served along with fried, crispy spinch. It was delicious and presentation was to the point. Must try for all Paneer Lovers.
6.Makhmali Khumbh: Mushrooms, being a big fan of mushroom this one was must try for me. Mushrooms were very fresh, scooped and stuffed with cheese and herbs and then presented with some melted cheese on top. Delightful it was.
Tandoori Sajawat: veggies like baby corn, bell pepper, tomatoes, onions and paneer marinated in pesto sauce and grilled in tandoor to perfection. Served along with the coriander and mint dip and some super hot spiced onions. Presentation was beautiful and tasted really very good. Only one thing, baby corn were little grown ups.! Should be the little ones in the dish.!

A studio is defined as a room where an artist, photographer, sculptor, etc. works. So, a food studio is where a chef works and that is exactly what it is. Here all the people work as a family and that is what makes this place outstanding. To be honest there is nothing extra ordinary about this place (except one) but you won't be able to find any loopholes here. Everything was just as it should be including the ambience, music, service, etc. The manager, Santosh has managed things very well and he is always smiling. The Food Studio has three outlets in Mumbai so far, including this one at Malad. This outlet is placed nearby to Infinity Mall which is an added advantage and they can get a good amount of footfalls.
Our table was well managed by Prem- He was civil, attentive and provided us with good suggestions. The outside of the restaurant will not portray what is inside it. From the exteriors it will appear like a regular outlet, it is only when you visit the inside you will get a clear picture of the amazingness. The Food studio is lit just like a studio with a goldenish theme. Tables are trippy, 2 projector screens, music played with adequate volume, trend songs, etc. are just some of the highlights of the interior. This place is a perfect place for a family, couples or a group, basically anyone.
Drinks/Beverages
With a unique bar shape this place has all the options one can look for including the classic cocktails. I wanted to try one of them but ended up drifting towards a cocktail called TEMPTATION. It was the name that I was more attracted to. It has litchi mixed with cranberry juice on a vodka base which in turn was enhanced with the flavors of ginger and lime. It was truly refreshing and it was mixed so well that one cannot say what all went into the making. The serving glass was artistic, looked similar to a heart.
SUNDOWNER is a popular cocktail served in a Hurricane glass. It is one of those layered mocktails which is as appealing visually as it is to your taste buds. It was served a mocktail here and so the contents are juices of pineapple and lemon, coriander leaves & lemonade. I generally tend to gravitate towards drinks containing pineapple which mostly turns out to be a good one. This mocktail too turned out to be a delicious one with a thick and foamy appearance. This is one of those insta-worthy drinks.
Food
One of the highlights of food studio is the CRACKLING SPINACH WITH PANEER- it is a dish which involves paneer marinated in red sauce served with crackling spinach, yes it is exactly that. The spinach is sweetened, fried and served with paneer. This was the best version of spinach I have had so far. Paneer was sprinkled with white sesame seeds which adds to the crispiness. This appetizer is a sure shot must try.
A quesadilla is a Mexican dish and type of taco. They represent it here in the exact same way. The tortilla was filled with corn, onion, olives, bell pepper and cheese; baked in oven and garnished with a sliced piece of Jalapeno. Four pieces of Quesadilla was served with cheese and salsa sauce. It was a satisfying experience to have these. We were surprisingly full by here so couldn't try anything exciting in mains because we wanted to try a good dessert and we did.
Desserts
MUD PIE is their signature dessert consisting of chocolate crumbs, crushed brownie, with a scoop of vanilla and sprinkled with pieces of walnuts. The dessert was served in a martini glass and was in sufficient quantity. It tasted well. The taste can be compared to sizzling brownie, not exactly but similar. Other items ordered were Dal makhani with Basmati rice & Laccha paratha.

Read moreThe Food Studio is one of the premium restobars known for it's exemplary commodious milieu. The place has a warm and welcoming decor and a chic vibe. To add to this, they have live screening and a good playlist. Owing to the scrupulous customer service and sapid meals, they've become one of the grand hosts in the neighborhood.
The customer service is unblemished and the crew members are warm-hearted. The management and the staff, with all of their geniality and hospitality, collude together to make the diner feel homely. Our table was hosted by Mr. Rohit Singh, Mr. Arjun Chand and Mr. Anjan who certainly made our dining experience memorable. The dishes we ordered were suggested by them and they were fantastic hosts.
The food menu boasts a variety of cuisines. Continental, Chinese, North Indian, they have it all! The bar menu too, features a wide spectrum of premium liquor, cocktails and mocktails for abstainers.
Cocktails & Mocktails They serve a variety of cocktails with different liquor bases. We ordered "Whiskey Sour" and "Bloody Mary". The former is very reinvigorating and has an amazing after taste. In terms of alcohol strength, it is moderately strong. The latter, tastes alright. We also ordered drinks from the mocktails section. "Melon Swirl" genuinely has a natural flavour of watermelon without any deterioration of any sort. It has a good overall feel to it. The other mocktail "Tropical Blue" has a perfect meld of sweet and tangy flavours.
Appetizers & Main Course "Crackling Spinach with Paneer": One of the top rated dishes served here. It is extremely flavourful and the spinach chunks make it exquisite. "Kung Pao Potato Veggies": Potato strips and veggies submerged and combined with the sweet and spicy flavour of the kung pao sauce is indubitably the perfect appetizer. It is absolutely savoury and highly recommended. "Tandoori Sajawat": It's a blend of paneer, broccoli, mushrooms and baby corns marinated in a delicious coriander based masala and roasted in a clay oven. It had a delectable taste. "The Food Studio Signature Pasta": One of the most recommended Italian dish in the menu, their signature pasta is a meld of fussily and penne mix with white sauce and tomato sauce with zucchini, mushrooms and bell peppers. It was very palatable.
Desserts We had "Sizzling Brownie with Vanilla Ice cream" and "Mud Pie". They're both elegant sweet treats made from brownies. The mud pie is basically chocolate brownie crumbs with roasted cashews and vanilla ice cream. They have plenty of sugarfixes in this section and all of them are strongly recommended.
It's a good spot for parties and casual get togethers. The place is usually crowded during peak hours and screening of a match. It's more of a restaurant than a restobar, but offers an array of decent drinks.
Overall : Ambience - Absolutely Delightful, 5/5
Customer service - Prompt and of high standards, 5/5
Food - Pretty...
