Flavours of China — Restaurant in Mumbai

The outlet was wrapped up with customers,due to weekend they were at mountaintop. Being at top the service was low-standard. The boy who was taking order he made us wait around 10-15min to place our order. Order was suppose to get ready in 20-25min, they took 35-40min. Team or management doesn't have any standards to serve, they are randomly cooking food and serving, for eg: we had ordered 3 items they were suppose to give us together instead of that they gave combo rice first,after 15-20 min they gave wings&sizzler which was seriously horrifying. Being Chinese restaurant they should know that food should be severed hot, instead of that they are just focusing on how to make easy money and how to fool people.

Barbeque wings Bbq wings was very similar to Manchurian wings, they don't use fresh chicken, outer layer of chicken wings was giving flavour of Manchurian then inside it was totally raw & stale.

Chicken Combo Rice Chicken Combo rice/noodle which was served with hot garlic gravy, 2 pieces of veg spring roll & Choclate Mousse/ Cream. The quality of rice & noodles was ok, it was bland & after adding hot garlic sauce then too it was unfavourable. In chicken combo their was only egg(omlette pieces) instead of chicken. Only chocolate cream was good in taste.

3.Chicken Butter Garlic sizzler. Quantity of sizzler was good, obviously no use of that because here also sizzler was tasteless. Even in sizzler, we ordered chicken sizzler there was only one chicken piece which was raw&stale. It was giving me a vibe of as if I'm having rice sizzler.

For this kind of tasteless food we wasted our ₹1000. Service is very pathetic & cant rely in this kind of outlets were they dont provide good taste. I would genuinely not recommend...

Good place to hang out in Borivali East. Just opened two months of age but not suitably located. Exactly opposite sukurwadi ST depot. God ambience, fast service n quality taste n food. Recommended for visiting again with family. Value for money. Really happy with the service n taste Further to our visit on Monday the 15th July.2019, we decided to take home delivery today by tasting some other non-veg dish viz crispy chicken as well as 2 rainbow soups by way of parcel. N to my surprise I was absolutely disgusted when I observed a flea in the crispy chicken preparation. When I spoke to the cashier of Borivali East joint of flavours of China Mr. Ganesh he first denied such incidence. I asked him for the refund of money I.e Rs.220/- which at first he said it was not possible and told me that he wud send one more crispy chic koken after verifying the authenticity of my statement,whereinafter I got annoyed and told him that I wud accept only the refund of the amount and was not happy with another dish of the same amount. I further told him that I have taken a picture of the flea in the preparation alongwith the bills of the hotel and had decided to approach the consumer court for redressal of my grievance only on which he decided to refund the amount on showing the insect in the parcel box of the preparation. However, I had now decided not to visit this joint and spread the news by way of mouth publicity,which invariably is a contagious disease. Absolutely disgusting for a new joint serving Chinese and opened hardly two months back. It's unfortunate n repeat...

I called them and asked if they delivered and was told to order from zomato. That's where they lost it all at the first go.

Anyways I reviewed their menu and decided to order Tibetan noodles.

The order arrived, the packing looked good, the quantity was good, when I opened the lid is when I was disappointed, I fail to understand when you call yourselves flavors of China, do you even know that Chinese do not break their noodles like sewain, they keep it whole, that's why it's called noodles.

Apart from the broken noodles, it had a whole lot of assorted veggies, chicken was diced into small cubes, I had to search for chicken literally, and egg, of course

I don't know why they decided to name it Tibetan noodles. It was spicy that I liked, then it was totally dry, I found it choking to eat it due to it being dry, usually Chinese restaurants offer chilly vinegar, some sauces with their takeaways but this one failed to do so.

After spending around 350/- to 400/- approximately, I can say that it was not worth it. Will it be on my try again list? No!!!
