Location and Entry criteria: Malad BSE has choosen prime location on the link road, quite near to the infinity mall. Though, the location is prime, reaching there would be a pain anytime of the week ( unless it's late in night). Having close proximity to office spaces like mindspace as well as malls like inifinity and Inorbit makes this part of the link road most jam-packed. I suggest you plan your visit accordingly. Also, since its new for now, they do not allow stag entries. One stag with one couple is allowed. Food and alcohol: The food is strictly ok. Also, since they are new they might not have the alcohol of your choice, right now. They do not have Bira and Blenders is what I know. Sigh Must do: You must book a table, but remember they will only hold your table for exact 5 mins after calling you. Any min up that you will have to start the process again. Also, you can't make reservations over phone, you have to physically go in book a table and wait. Also, if by any chance you miss taking their call they will immediately assume you do not want the table anymore. They act little pricey in this regard. Not must but tried and tested are: TBSE Mexican bean nachos, chainese chilli paneer , and chicken cheese melt. All safe options. Service: They have little arrogant but friendly staff. They want to be friendly and polite but somehow end up being little stern and strict ( not required). Oh ya please take your own music cd if you want good music. BSE doesn't allow DJ 's to play good...

We were here on Christmas eve and had a good time here. We ordered chicken momos which were a let down. The chicken kungpao was nothing to write about, as well. The chicken kheema roti was good. Worth trying out, i would say. Drinks are priced in the usual range and there's the price fluctuations in the drinks, to mimic the stock market. We did not bother much about it though. It was nice to sit out but the mosquitoes made it a tad uncomfortable. The music was average but the crowd was great which made it a nice experience. The service could have been better. Our kheema paratha came after 35-40mins and the server, upon being asked about the delay, said that it was ready but there was nobody to pick the order. I do not believe that restaurants that apply a service charge can be so lax about the service. We were neither welcomed by a smiling, affable staff nor served by one. So to sum up, it was a fairly good experience. But not a fantastic one. It's only because of the wonderful crowd and christmas eve, else, i feel, the food and the service are not compelling. This is not going to feature in my top 5 malad restaurants. Top 10 - maybe. Try it...
