Tantra is a new restaurant alert at Hughes road near chowpatty. Chef Naved is consultant chef of Tantra and has designed the menu for this place Its an all vegetarian restaurant keeping the area and demographics in mind. A very striking feature of Chef Naved;s dishes being that although most of gujaratis /marwadis eat sweet food.He has kept his dishes here a little on spicy side which i personally loved it.
The interiors of Tantra are classy, simple.Takes you back to british era. Good music playing in the background. This restaurant is more of a family restaurant. They have many tables with seatings of 8 -10 people. It is good to see Tantra promoting the concept of entire family dining together.
Seatings at Tantra are divided on ground floor and first floor. They have a relatively small bar on the 1st floor.Even on a weekday this place was packed. Staff Service was a bit average but can understand this as the place was packed.
Also from 2nd jan 2018 Tantra is introducing a new menu which will have a few more varieties of dishes added on to their menu which is great!
