Situated in one of the prominent localities of Mumbai, Chowpatty, TNBT has replaced the former Kurries and Burries. The eatery specializes in a wide range of cuisines like Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Thai and Lebanese. The beautiful restaurant is the first venture by Mahek Sharma and Tanya Varshney, two gorgeous ladies who grew up around this area and always wanted to open a vegetarian eatery with good food.
The thirty-seater has bustling interiors with a floral and colorful vibe, relaxed essence, teamed up with efficient service and creatively stands out in the area. We were here for a preview dinner and completely loved the food as well as the ambiance.
To begin with, we had some flavourful Masala Orange Soda and Masala Ice Tea. For starters, we tried the Assorted Platter which consists of Kung Pao Potatoes, Nachos with Cheese sauce, Spring Rolls with spicy salsa and Hummus with Pita. The Kung Pao Potatoes were perfectly done with cashew nuts. Nachos were topped with mix bell peppers and thankfully they didn't taste like Khakhra or the out-of-the-packet Nachos. Jain version of the same is available if ordered separately. Spring Rolls were crisp and had a good amount of filling. The Hummus was great in itself while the Pita could have been a bit better.
The Butter Garlic Pizza is a special dish that's simply delicious and highly recommended for all pizza lovers! No description, just go try it!
The Classic Burrito Bowl filled with rice and beans topped with sour cream, olives, nacho chips and greens is heavy enough for to be shared between two persons.
No meal can be complete without desserts and so we called for the Chocolate Avalanche. Served in a stylish dish, it was loaded with vanilla and chocolate ice cream, cream frosting on the edges, dark chocolate sauce, chocolate mousse, brownies and oreo crumble. Make sure you have enough place in your stomach to finish this if you are not a big group. The Chocolate Spring Roll is another specialty you can try.
They also have board games to pass your time. TNBT opens its doors today ie 2nd...

Read moreI really felt like having a pasta On a Sunday evening so after all the research we put into we found this space. To start with its a sweet looking small resto. It does accept Zomato gold but the condition that you have an ID on you.. Strange but they are a little strict about it. The server wasn't so pleasant rather seemed disinterested. Anyway we called for a Alfredo pasta which was decent nothing extra ordinary about it. Rather for the cost it's for the portion is really tiny. The next thing we called was a Kit Kat waffle.(gold doesn't cover the tnbt special waffle) The waffle was nice. Overall it was an ordinary experience nothing that sticks or makes me want to visit again. Cause the pricing and the portions don't match and even the staff seem not so friendly.
P. S . you pay for water as there is a Kinley on...
