Zaiqaa Hotel — Restaurant in Mumbai

This review won't be for taste at Zaiqaa hotel, rather to say how inhuman someone could be for money.... Me and my family reached around 1.30 pm... As we were bit late for my 2.5 yr old daughter's lunch,I requested for jeera and dal fry( as it would readily be available)and particularly mentioning it for my baby..... I Could see the owner was busy only online/on phone order and asking to prepare those and not even instructing staff to see the customer present inside the restaurant... So after 5-10 min I enquired for the same , I been told it been prepared.... Leaving my family for lunch I went for checkin to a lodge.....after returning (20-25min) I was surprised it not yet been served but can see parcels are going...I lost my cool and asked about their inhuman behaviour... I got a reply that they had prior order... I asked how can they become so much insensible to money infront of a 2 year baby hunger.... All other public present there supported me...This was an worst experience to me and never wish the same thing happens to any other baby...

Zaiqaa is located in Dadar.

The restaurant is decent in size and the tables are arranged in a systematic manner. The ambiance is basic so nothing to talk about there.

They specialise in North Indian, Mughlai and Chinese cuisines hence the options available are great for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Prices are not too high and the quantity served is satisfactory.

I went here for dinner before the current lockdown started and the service was great as the food came on time plus the server was attentive.

What We Had - APPETIZER~ Shanghai Chicken - Chicken made in yellow spices tasted nice. The chicken was fresh and juicy plus bell peppers & onion was used too. Loved the spices used along with ginger garlic as the taste was not too strong and it had great flavours.

MAIN~ Chicken Combination Rice - Simple fried rice with egg, chicken, rice and noodles. Tasted good with schezwan sauce.

So this emergency meal of ours at Zaiqaa was enjoyable and you...

the taste is good, but i just ordered 2full chicken fried rice and 1 full chicken chilly gravy parcel and i received the gravys quantity at a half size and less chicken in both rice with a too much egg . I stay close by. But what has happened in these few months with me only i can relate to it, because the cost of the menu is high and i have sometimes been in situations like these. the taste is delicious. but in this lockdown zaikaa is behaving strangely with the parcel delivery giving some ingredients less. I did complain to the restaurant but the waiter was like are sir kabhi kabar hota hai agli baar nahi hoga. The restaurant should understand they are charging way much than they serve. but honestly you should visit the restaurant the food is awesome. for the taste i give 5 stars. i hope the owner looks into...
