I recently visited Buddha Cafe in Mahabalipuram and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The peaceful and serene atmosphere of the restaurant truly lived up to its name. The place is beautifully decorated with Buddha statues, lights, and calming music, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
I started with the crispy fried calamari, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It had a delicious crunchy texture and was served with a zesty dip that complemented the dish well.
Next up was the fish gravy, which was rich and flavorful. The fish was fresh and tender, and the spices used in the gravy were perfectly balanced. It went really well with the rice.
The tawa prawns were a definite highlight of the meal. They were cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of spice, making them juicy and flavorful. The prawns were served sizzling hot , which made the dish even more enticing.
The fried rice was also delicious, with a perfect balance of spices and flavors that complemented the other dishes on the table.
And finally, the chicken 65 was a fantastic addition to the meal. It had a perfect blend of spices and was crispy on the outside, yet juicy and tender on the inside.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.
The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes.
The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, making sure that we had everything we needed and ensuring that we had a memorable dining experience. The prices were also very reasonable, given the high quality of the food and service.
Overall, I highly recommend Buddha Cafe to anyone visiting Mahabalipuram. It's a perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal in a peaceful and relaxing setting."

Read moreI am love with this cafe in recent times. We went as a couple to mahabalipuram. Being a sea food lovers, me and my husband were looking for a good restaurant with good sea food. In our search, we found this gem💎. We stayed in Mahabalipuram for two nights and both the nights, we had dinner here only. Masala fried calamari and Tawa prawns are must try here. In drinks, I would suggest you all to try "Mojito Classic". The owner "Mohammad" made sure that we are ordering food that suits our taste bud. Initially we thought of ordering garlic butter calamari and he suggested us to try "masala fried calamari" as it will be good for our taste bud. It is the best dish we had in this entire trip. We also get pancake here. It is my first time trying pancake. It is like heaven with banana and Nutella. We asked them for live catch one night before. So they bought us tiger prawns specially for us for the next night, which is so fresh and it is cooked in tawa style with crushed garlic and came along with french fries. We really enjoyed here. The whole ambience is so good. We spent almost 3 hours in this cafe which doesn't feel like 3 hours.
