We were keen on checking this place as it was new. Bang on the main ttk road, prime location. First impression for the ambience was not so good. There's a big door that gives you an impression that there's nothing inside or the restaurant's closed. Could have gone with glass doors. Then, the interiors, colors, grafitti on walls and posters are supposed to be on Jokers theme.. but it wasn't that good. Being a designer myself, i felt like they could have done the interiors a lot lot better. We could see cost cutting on cutleries aswell. This place also had the same old YouTube pop song playlist, which is honestly boring to keep hearing everywhere. So cliched. Coming to food, the menu was straight forward and simple. We tried a fiery corn, pizza, pasta, sandwich and maggi. Prices are not cheap, but ok. Food menu was priced ok but shakes were extremely overpriced at 389 per milkshake. We didn't even bother looking at them. The fiery corn came in a weird school lunch box, but tasted pretty good. Then came in the pizza, which was big but very thin like a chapathi. It was burnt on the back sides which was not at all a good experience. Taste was ok but the crust being so thin and having it burnt, ruined it. White sauce pasta followed, which was pretty good. No complaints there. Classic maggi came in a mug, which was again surprising. For 130rs (edit: its 99rs) , we had some 20rs worth of maggi inside with few extra veggies. Not so special. Nutella and banana sandwich came in later, which was priced at 170 odd, was actually worth that price. 3 slices of bread, banana and nutella+ choco chips all over. It was very good and presentation of the slices were very good aswell. Overall, my ratings are: Ambience: 4/10 - Amateurish Food: 7/10 Pricing: 5/10 Service: 8/10 Update: So, the owner has replied. I'm sorry but in no way was I degrading your restaurant. I believe I have the right to explain my experience as a paying customer. The price of shakes, rather monster milkshake is still costly. We're not having food at cafes for the first time. There are other restaurants that run in prime locations aswell. I do know there are other costs involved, I never asked you to deliver maggi at 20rs, It was my opinion that 99 was not worth the price. I've given you positive feedback on service and actually food quality, but you've ignored that part and just mentioned about the cons that I've talked about. I'd not think of coming back again, Ms. Shakthi. I may not be the expert or have out of the box ideas, but I very well have the right to express my review. This is a social platform and anyone can use it for fake reviews or bashing, which clearly was not what I was doing. Anyways, good luck with your business with that mentality of not even accepting criticism!

Joker's kitchen - Alwarpet A resto based on dc comics character 'Joker'. The wall arts are filled with joker and Harley quinn and their quirky quotes. The best part of this restaurant is a private AC lounge. The lounge costs 500rs per hour and can easily accommodate around 8 people. The lounge has a smart TV with Netflix, comfortable sofas and beanbags. They also have a lot of board games inside the lounge. A cool idea for a private meet with friends. The restaurant servers will not disturb us unless we ourselves call them using a switch. The mocktails - candy love is a candy flavoured drink. We loved the taste. And also we tried the ice teas with peach and green apple flavour. Both tasted very good. Tea flavour was mild. Among the starters, we loved Mexican frayays and Maggi vadai. Mexican frayays is absolutely delicious french fries with peri peri flavour. Maggi vadai is a blend of cutlet and Maggi noodles 😍😍😍. Another must try starter here is the 'Bang on'. Its a Herbed bread filled with cheese and butter and also with a dip. 😍 It looks huge but it's very soft and easy to finish. Crispy corn dish was normal. Also we ordered cheese calzone - tasted like a folded pizza. Can be avoided if you are planning to order a pizza here as it gives the same taste. We ordered the costliest pizza in the menu - fully loaded pizza at 799rs. Its a raised pizza (raised in height), loaded with lot of cheese and vegetables. It's hard to finish but tasted good. And rich pesto pasta we had, got mixed reviews from my friends. Myself liked it..but my friend felt the sauce was over flavoured. The desserts here are disappointing though. They use whipped cream more in milkshakes and monster shakes. We tried bubble gum milkshake which was quite okay. But the dessert dump (monster shake) needs a lot of improvement. Whipped cream should be reduced and also the donut placed in monster shake needs to be better in quality. Overall this place excels in starters,. Mocktails and ambience. But struggles in desserts range. If you have a friends group, then their lounge is the best place to meet up, play and watch some cool videos together on a big screen.

One of the most decent vegetarian bistros that has opened up in recent times. Parking might become an issue if the place is full. The food was amazing, from starters to main course and deserts too. Unfortunately, main course options are limited to pizzas, pastas, sandwiches and rice bowls, I would have liked it if there was more variety in the menu card. Ambience was kind of okay, while you're entering it feels like you're going inside a room. Coming to the part that bugged me the most, I don't want to sound rude or anything, I'm somewhat of a DC fan and this place is named 'Joker's kichen' named after the infamous villain from DC comics. True, the place is filled with portrait pictures of the clown Prince of Gotham City but what bothered me the most were the quotes. Joker is known for so many amazing quotes from famous comics like the killing Joke and dark knight returns. These people could have area used quotes from the movie directed by Christopher Nolan ' The Dark Knight' it's just that when you name a restaurant after such an iconic character, people expect stuff that is actually related to the character not random Google quotes about people or life. Honestly it felt like they had a real opportunity to do something awesome like throw in some comics or have some better actual Joker quotes from the comics, movies or video games and this really bugged me, I'm willing to bet that I'm not the only one who felt this way. It's just that a character like the Joker deserves better. As a restaurant, it succeeds but fails miserably in using the name of the Clown Prince of Gotham.
