Such a bad experience. I couldn't wait to get out of the place. The restaurant itself is beautiful and decorated very tastefully with lovely art covering the walls. The waiter didn't care to take the order. When he did finally come up to my table it was to ask what I had ordered. When I gave him the order, the food took quite a while to arrive. No plates were set until after it was asked for after the food arrived. And the food itself visited two different tables before actually making its way to mine. Garlic fried rice was dry I could hardly swallow it. No condiments were provided. After asking for it, that took another 10 mins. I order their elaneer payasam. It was runnier than the water they provided. But it was however made with actual elaneer so I'll give them that. I didn't taste especially different as they claimed it to be their speciality. Have visited Anna Vilas Quite few times. Pros : Situated at prime location with good parking facility and Seating Capacity. 2)Service was quite good by the stasf and attending well at regular intervals.Spcl mention to Lekshmi. Cons: Eventhough they provide with a lengthy menu booklet, 80% of Items are not available. Never had i ever got a North Indian Dish from Anna Vilas, and to my shock today they dnt even have Indo Chinese cuisine. I think they really need to work on the menu and food items they can provide. Its sad that they can't offer any other cuisine. They alredy have to compete pioneers like A2B, Sangeetha which is at their Door step, Nithya Amritham wich are on walkable distance from them. Hi, We went there yesterday. Atmosphere only good. But their ambiance quality checking nothings has happened. First mostly they not concentrating what they providing for a order and check on what are the things to be given along with that. I have order mini tiffed my mom ordered chola pori. Chola pori is like extra large size of normal pori. Channa masala worst to the core. Mini tiffen not served hot at all. Sambar literally taken from fridge. No coconut chutney to me but served to next table. Vadai is not literally re heated in oven and served in my plate. Overflow oil from vadai with that I can make a tadka to other dishes .. like wise they provided. Pongal by god grace served bit warm. Pori and masala good .
