Namma Veedu Vasanta Bhavan — Restaurant in Zone 9 Teynampet

Visited here as other 3 friends. Since it was first time at Mylapore, we had no idea where to have a good lunch. Finally we went here. There were 2 varieties of meals, Chennai meals and Mylapore meals. We 2 ordered Mylapore meals and other 2 Chennai meals. We thought they both were different but they we the same only difference being Mylapore meals lack podi with ghee. Unknowing this when podi was kept we all 4 shared and immediately a server came by and informed about it and we said it's ok we will pay for it seperately. Inspite of saying that they didn't refill podi when it emptied in our table and on repeated asking they replaced it. A man seems like head of the servers that came nearby and scolded the server for keeping the podi and ghee in our table. Then he came near us and enquired do we need anything else we said no and he took away the podi and ghee. When my asked for podi the man himself came with it and served, he was not willing to serve even 2 spoons of it. Even a low cost mess don't do that. Finally in the end they charged extra ₹30 for eating podi. Profit should not be the only motto, customer satisfaction too is needed to become successful. Poor service and over priced. No extraordinary taste, waste of money and waste of time in...

Very Very poor customer service. Ordered soup and they said soup not available then ordered paneer tikka instead of soup but bringing soup🤦‍♀️ we said we can't take both so please cancel paneer tikka but they refused because of the price, finally they canceled soup and taken back.. we ordered main course as well and waited for more than 45 mins but nothing on the table... after long long wait main course came when we asked about starter they said paneer not available that also we accepted and canceled the starter.. after we finished dinner they again coming back and informing us your starter is ready🤦‍♀️ who will have starter after the dinner???? very very poor service and they can't manage multiple orders.....

This is most important... at the end we ordered parcel of one set of chapati.. we got bill and we paid. When i try to cross verify the bill the waiter asked for bill and he went... we thought it's just a bill and left the place, but when we came home we saw there were 2 sets of chapati... customers are not fools.. i have been here from my childhood days but from now onwards I will never visit this restaurant and won't refer this place to my friends and family

Yesterday I went to this Vasantha bhavan sweets in snacks outlet which is besides the hotel of Vasantha bhavan main . There I bought 250 grams of soil puppy sweet where the sweet so dry and so horrible and taste once when I ask sample they refused to give also and second time I asked then they had started giving from the same packet of parcel what I bought itself then what is the use of treating a customer in this way. I asked him twice whether the sweetest fresh the sales person who is on the cash counter said the huge lie mentioning it is fresh sweet but once when I go home and open the street box the sweetest fully smell oily and dalda smell is coming . Generally soan puppy sweet should be dry and it should be in flaky and crispin texture unfortunately this sweet was so dry and so chewing in taste. Generally all shops will sell it and 250 grams 500 grams 1 kg and all here they are selling it and coating the price for 200 grams I don't know what sort of gramage and price rate value they are putting I don't know. Surya sweets much better than Vasantha bhavan sweets and snacks. Total waste no jilebi...
