I've been in Bali for a month and this is the worst review I've ever written. There were many problems and it really ruined my memories. we ordered quite a lot of food, including a bottle of wine. When taking our order she did not tell us in advance about any problems, she only cared about taking our order, which was a lot of food. But suddenly, without any notice, she told us that the card machine was broken and we could only pay in cash. (This was not informed in advance) She even asked us to go to an ATM which was more than 10 minutes away without any apologetic attitude. We were so upset. 2.the store is small but there are so many tables that it is uncomfortable. Every guest has to watch out for each other's food or clothes and they only care about getting a lot of customers. 3.we asked for a cup several times but she kept not bringing it. When our patience was over she finally gave us what we needed.
Everything is the worst and I don't understand the rating...
Read moreJuly 2016. We have recently come back to this restaurant. Pity that the restaurant has been renovated and it has lost its identity. Doesn't look like an Italian restaurant (bar perhaps?) and no air con. When we walked in, we were the only patrons and the Chef was resting on a Long bench. We ordered the same Parpadella but this time has no porcini mushroom and it was extremely salty. The other dish, Tagliatelle, was bland. Very disappointing and sad to know that this will be our last visit to what used to be our Favourite Italian in Ubud
September 2015: We arrived at 9:45 and it is still open. We had Parpadella with Porcini mushroom and Italian sausage, sliced sirloin steak, pear with Gorgonzola for appetiser, pannacotta and Nutella crepes for dessert. Food was fantastic. Steak was done perfectly and pasta was al dente. What can be improve is the ventilation. The only disappointment was there were 2 local patrons and they smoked. The staff...
Read moreMy bf had always wanted to bring me to eat Italian pizza đ but I refused it because I thought it might be boring. Who knew destiny called me to Dolce Arancia. (Got attracted to come here because I knew 'Dolce' word & love that word!)
Even now I've been back from Bali for almost 2 months, I still couldn't forget the calamary & sauce (I forgot its nameâit's white sauce) and the pizza, too đ I missed to be here! Toilet was spacious and clean. Restaurant was cozy too! Will be back, soon âafter this C virus ended!
Ps: if the experience in this restaurant wasn't memorable , I won't search for Italian Restaurant Ubud (because I forgot the name, so I thought I might recognize it once seeing the photo in...
