Was initially excited to eat here because of the reviews and prices! But unfortunately felt disappointed coming here. Took a long time to order your food and receive it and it arrived cold and some food did not taste good at all. We didn't even have a waiter or waitress and people were just shouting orders.
It got busy around 6/7pm so they decided sharing tables with others was a good idea it got a crazy. I seen 10 couples on one square table (that seated 6) and they looked uncomfortable and not having a good experience. If you want to sit alone with your family or significant other during dinner that may not be an option at the restaurant.
When we were finishing our food they had people crowding our table while we were still eating and trying to pay and it was extremely uncomfortable as we felt rushed and pretty much pushed out of out table and restaurant. We were there for 60-70 minutes total and maybe had food for 15 minutes of that time.
They also didn't clean some table's after people ate so some of the tables had food and glasses on them from previous customers. Some workers were also carrying bags of what it looked like to be garbage through the restaurants and between people as they were eating.
I would not recommend coming here and would suggest looking at the other warungs in the area that have the same prices, larger quantities and better...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Warun BiahBiah in Ubud, Bali, with my family and I must say it was an exceptional experience that deserves recognition.
Warun BiahBiah is a charming blend of traditional Balinese/Indonesian cuisine housed in a cozy atmosphere. The ambiance exudes authenticity while providing a welcoming and comfortable setting. The staff, with their prompt service and warm hospitality, added a delightful touch to our dining experience.
The menu featured a range of authentic Balinese and Indonesian dishes, and we were not disappointed. The pangsit goreng and nasi goreng were absolute highlights, bursting with flavors that transported us to the heart of Balinese culinary tradition. The tempeh dish was also noteworthy, showcasing the kitchen's commitment to quality.
What truly impressed us, aside from the delectable food, was the reasonable pricing. Despite its central location in Ubud, Warun BiahBiah offers a wallet-friendly dining experience, ensuring that you receive excellent value for your money.
The service was both swift and extremely friendly. The staff's attentiveness and genuine warmth made us feel not just like customers but valued guests.
Thank you, Warun BiahBiah, for a lovely dining experience. We look forward to returning and savoring more of your...
Read moreTried nasi campur here, but it tasted completely bland and unauthentic, even lacking enough salt. But the worst part about eating here is that this restaurant is not family friendly, even anti-children. After we ordered our food at Warung Biah Biah, I picked up a takeaway meal from the restaurant next door for our 4-year-old child to eat, and when I placed it on the table in front of our child, to see the happy smile on our child’s face, this rude waitress immediately came up to us to ruin our happiness: she condescendingly berated us and said, “outside food is not allowed here!” Even though we never saw any sign in the restaurant or at the front of the restaurant saying such a thing. We told them that such a thing is dumb, and that the food is for our child. The waitress stomped off and never apologised, leaving the situation for another waiter to resolve. Even without such an insult towards our family, if I knew beforehand how bland the food was going to be then I wouldn’t have eaten here in the first place; and we will never come back here again. There are plenty of better, more authentic, options for Balinese food in this area of Ubud which include...
