Snow Jam Cafe - Ubud — Restaurant in Bali

For my friends travelling with peanut allergies, we all know how hard it is to find something safe to eat. I ordered a honey bread. The only generic item included in this order was granola. I asked the staff if granola contained nuts and I was told a firm, no. Imagine my surprise when I receive my meal covered in a variety of nuts. I explained that I was deathly allergic to nuts and couldn’t have them on my dish. The staff them took the dish to the kitchen, scraped off the nuts from the dish and promptly returned the same bread to me with a new topping. (When questioned, the staff admitted this) Unfortunately, as someone who with an anaphaltic allergy, I couldn’t accept. The staff said I would get a new order. However, judging by the cold bread and my anaphalatic reaction on the new order, I can assume it was the same. It’s extremely disappointing to be placed in such an unsafe position from staff not taking a life threatening medical condition seriously.

This cafe served the best snow ice 🍨 ❄️, it was soft and big portion. I have mango snow ice and it's so delicious. The Chicken Han Bang was great taste too and served in a big portion with rice inside the chicken in Korean style, it's enough for 5 people I think. I had an Avocado sandwich that could be share with 3 people. The pasta portion also in big portion. Don't forget to order their Chocolate or strawberry shake because served in a big glass, you will love it very much. My suggestion when you dine in here, order three dishes and a dessert you can share to others because all food here served in big portions. You will love it very much. The cafe interior was in Korean style and they have outdoor seating. They also have homemade coconut jam and taste was delicious. The backyard garden was amazing and spacious. Better sit there rather than indoor seatings. The staff also friendly and helpful. When we were there, most of their menu was sold out.

So we can only order the Red Bean Bingsu and Red Bean donut. But if you look closer, the Red Bean donut was only 2, supposed to be 3, but they only have 2 left. The staff told me that they exchanged it with plain donut. I’d recommend you to go here before 3pm especially on Sunday.
